This is our first trip to WDW. DH went to DLP a few years ago, but I have no Disney experience, so I thought I'd start planning early to make sure I've got time to get it right! :d:

It's just the two of us, both 24 with no injuries or ailments. It'll be a kind of honeymoon, as we got married in March, and our wedding guests gave us holiday vouchers, which have paid for the holiday and the park tickets. We did have a week's holiday after the wedding, but are seeing this as our real honeymoon :) - and obviously we'll tell Disney we're honeymooners ;)

Two weeks at Pop Century, no car

Day 1 (Saturday 18th November)
Arrive, explore and relax!

Day 2 (Sunday 19th November)
Boma (AKL) for breakfast - what is the earliest we could get over to AKL on the Disney Transport? (might save for next day, but would ideally like to see sunrise and watch the animals as we know we'll be up early, but I guess this is an optimistic plan if we have to rely on buses)
Magic Kingdom (EMH pm)

Day 3 (Monday 20th November)
Animal Kingdom (EMH am)

Day 4 (Tuesday 21st November)
Typhoon Lagoon (Blizzard Beach is closed :()

Day 5 (Wednesday 22nd November)
Epcot

Day 6 (Thursday 23rd November)
Thanksgiving
Relax. Downtown Disney

Day 7 (Friday 24th November)
MGM Studios

Day 8 (Saturday 25th November)
Shopping

Day 9 (Sunday 26th November)
Epcot

Day 10 (Monday 27th November)
Discovery Cove

Day 11 (Tuesday 28th November)
Seaworld

Day 12 (Wednesday 29th November)
Animal Kingdom

Day 13 (Thursday 30th November)
Magic Kingdom and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Day 14 (Friday 1st December)
Shopping

Day 15 (Saturday 2nd December)
MGM, Home

All comments welcome, please feel free to pick apart, as I'm really new to this and would appreciate all the help I can get! :d:

edited to add, that we haven't got as far as talking about dining yet, so ADRs still to come :)

Looks fab Claire :D Good choice to have more than one day at most of the parks as then you can take things at a bit more of a leisurely pace and change plans slightly if you need/want to :)

It also means you can do each park once from opening but then have more of a lie in on your second day there ;)

Also, on your shopping days, you might also want to play a game of mini golf or head over to DisneyQuest?

Only 2 days shopping and you a girl !!! We always start out like you, plan every day until we arrive...out the window they go!! What about Universal, Busch Gardens and Kennedy Space Center (the wife really likes this ).Over the years we've worked it out that 1 day parks-1 day shopping works for us. Have a great time...we're in the "Land of the Mouse " around the same time...getting closer by the day!!

Thanks for the comments :)

My DH is restricting my shopping (at the planning stage at least)! :d:

We're not too bothered about the other attractions this time, cost is an issue, as is the lack of transport :)

Not enough shopping, ha ha (sorry-I am an absolute shopaholic & need at least an hour a day in a mall or I have palpiatations- I know every discount at every possible shop available). Your itinerary sounds pretty good to me and let us know if you need any further advice.

Looks good to me, we don't do too much shopping either; as mentioned, try to get a game of mini golf in, & as you haven't got kids you can try out the clubs at pleasure island & boardwalk in the evening :)

Thanks everyone :)
We don't have much planned for the evenings yet, so would appreciate suggestions. Some (considerably older) friends of ours are going around the same time as us, and we intend to meet up with them a few times.

Make sure you get a margarita at The House of Blues at some point Claire - they are delicious :D
