Hi there, I'm sure this has been covered many times before, sorry for my laziness.

I'm toying between either going to some parks on their 'quiet' day or going in the afternoon on their EEMH. Some reports say that parks with EEMH may be very busy up until the evening, but that crowds fall away quickly as it gets late. In fact it seems that most rides are walk-ons in the evening.

What I was wondering is, when approx would crowds start to lighten? I mean, if you are talking about 10:00pm or so before crowds start to thin, it may not be worth it and better to go on a 'light' day.

I hope you follow my drift! ;)

Not sure about whether the park is generally busier during the day when EMH are in the evening but I do know that on the one occasion we used EMH last year (at Epcot), we left at 11.30 and the place was still packed to the gills.

We usually plan on going to whichever park had EMH the night before. However, if you want to take advantage of EMH, and you don't have hoppers, I would go to the park in the morning then return later in the evening.

Our experience last year was that the park with morning EMH was busier all day as lots of US guests don't have the hopping option on their tickets and would stay in that park the whole day.

In the evenings we found the parks much quieter after about the first hour of EMH than at any time during the day. As the evening went on it got progressively quieter until all the rides were walk ons. This was in July so we were talking pretty late as parks were open until 10 or 11pm normally. Also remember not all attractions are open for EMH.
