Hi,

this is my first attempt at an itinerary for a trip before we've sorta had an idea and gone with the flow

there are 3 of us all adults :pgig: and we are going for 2 weeks can't wait

Day 1 Sat- Arrival about 6pm local time, get through customs etc, then go and find the villa. If we are feeling up to then we will go and find the nearest Wal-Mart and pick up some essetinals :D If not then

Day 2 Sun- First proper day and DM Bday :spin: If we did not manage to make it to the Wal-Mart then we will grab breakfast somewhere on the way to the shops, if we did then a lazy morning to get over the journey

Afternoon, going to DTD to see whats around get bearings etc will have been 5 years since the last time we were in Florida:cry: but we'll be back:d:

Go to Disney Quest and check it out cos we've never been in there before and it looks cool

find somewhere nice in DTD to have dinner back to the villa for

Day 3 Mon- SeaWorld all day, may come out of the park for an or two then go back for the night show

Day 4 Tues- Rest Day, shopping in the Belz because we like it there! that's if it's still there if not then find a suitable replacement like the lake buena vista mall to vistit lunch and dinner probably in somewhere like the sizzler or the ponderosa

Day 5 Wed- The big one Keys to the Kingdom tour in MK has been booked for months and I'm really starting to look forward to all of the different things that they show you and the potential to skip the queue on some rides:pgig:
that includes lunch, and is suppose to finish at about 2pm. Depending on how we feel afterwards go out of the park for a bit or stay all day either way ending up with the fireworks!

Day 6 Thurs- Lazy day, maybe going to see what's happening down on I-drive, to get over big 12 hour park experience the day before

Day 7 Fri- Going to Epcot, probably get there around lunch time and have counter service in electric umbrella, see whats round and about going on all our fave rides and hoping to check out soarin. May go for Dinner in that nice resturant in Canada cos we all like it last time but don't have an ADR!

Day 8 - Heading over to Daytona for a nice day on the beach and a bit of a chill :D

Day 9 - Going to Kennedy Space centre, will probably take all day

Day 10 MGM going in the afternoon, staying for Fantasmic, not to be missed under any circumstances

Day 11 late morning, maybe go to Universal, would like to go there is one of my faves

Day 12 - maybe animal kingdom, maybe not if we do then park hopping after closing to see the fireworks at one of the parks again

Day 13 - final full day, just chill and make sure all is packed and ready to leave

Day 14 - go home

any suggestions are v.welcome as I may re-draft this and there is only 3 weeks left til we gooooooo!!!

That's a very relaxed fortnight! We pack in loads more than that!

I probably wouldn't put two trips out to the Atlantic coast on consecutive days - unless I was staying overnight. I'd also probably not put an early start after a late finish at Epcot. Also we have to go to a park on the last day until at least 3pm because chilling just feels like waiting to go home :( .

However you appear to have been to Orlando a million times before :D so you probably know what you like, so I say go for it!!

Where's your villa?

If it was up to me alone there would be a lot more packed in:d: ... but have to keep everyone happy, and the others like to have a rest between parks:nonono: , I'll be trying to persuade them to go into the parks on the afternoons of rest days!:D

We are planning on staying on the coast over night before going to Kennedy the next day :cool2:

We don't know where the Villa is yet so a lot will depend on how close it is to Disney :thumbs-up We won't find out until we get there!

Could anyone make a suggestion of a nice place to go to eat in DTD?

I'd suggest rainforest cafe - if you want fun, or wolfgang pucks gets good reviews, if you are more interested in the food :)

I think that the rainforrest cafe sounds like a good idea, anywhere else to go that shouldn't be missed, think that I may be missing something

I actually think of seaworld as a rest day! - not too much walking and loads of sitting down waiting for / watching the shows etc.

Mind you, there's no way I could wait til day 5 to get to the magic kingdom! - we're there as soon as we wake up on day 1:d:

It seems very relaxed and chilled - enjoy!

Looks quite relaxed to me! If you really want to eat at Le Cellier I would make an ADR or you risk being disappointed, it is very popular. Also get Fastpasses for Soarin as soon as you arrive, again this is very popular and Fastpasses disappear quickly.

thanks for the advice. I've been thinking and as you said karen mouse waiting until day 5 to head into MK, and then having most of the day taken up on the tour is probably not the best plan as the main point of going is to see Mickey and his pals! So I think that there may need to be a slight adjustment to the plan, instead of going to SeaWorld on day 3 think Epcot would be better, ease into walking around there in the morning then do some park hopping to MK!

yipeeeeee the second tour of the holiday has been booked...:thumbs-up :spin:  :o: :pgig: :pgig: The Segway Tour!!!!! in Epcot!!!!! I can't wait!!!! ;) I've managed, only 18 days before my trip to ring Disney and sorted it all out for the 12th of June at 9AM:confused2 (we are not fond of early starts) but I'm hoping that it will be worth it:pgig:
