Old Disney Hopper+ tickets with days left upgrade??

HI we have some old Disney Hopper plus tickets from 2002 I know unused days never expire on these tickets but wondered if anyone had upgraded the old days left for new tickets at Disney and what sort of deal you got??
We have 3 adult tickets with 2 park days a 2 water park days left and one child ticket with the same amount of days left. We are going to Disney again in 2007.

We recently enquired about upgrading 3 x Adult 1 day hoppers with 2 plus options, we were offered $50 each for them against PAP's.
For us it was worth keeping the passes and just buying PAP's later on.

I believe the 'credit' you get is equivalent to the amount you paid for the original tickets (rather than getting full days iyswim) so you're probably better off using the days you have left as they stand

For example if you paid $200 for a 4 day ticket last time and had one day left it would be worth $50
whereas a 4 day ticket today might cost $240 ($60 per day) you would still have to pay $190 for your extra 3 days to upgrade to a new 4 day ticket

I recently emailed Disney to ask this question and had a reply stating that they no longer upgrade tickets or give you any value towards new tickets. I was hoping to upgrade the one day we had left on our tickets to the new tickets but was told that they no longer apply old tickets towards the cost of new tickets. Maybe it depends who replies to your email as to what response you get. We are now considering buying new tickets as my daughters boyfriend is coming with us this year and we do not have a ticket for him to park hop.Hope this information helps.

We are still using the water park options from our old hoppers yet.
If i was you i would just buy a new base tickets for your next trip and use your old hopper for 2 days that you want to park hop and for the water parks:d:
