I would do MGM. Playhouse Disney is, Mermaid show, the new Light Motor Action stunt show, being boys they should enjoy this. There is also the Star and Cars parade.
MGM is our favourite Disney park. Even when my two were really young they couldnt get enough of it. A straight choice for them would have meant MGM without a doubt. However it depends on what you want. There are rides like ToT which even some rather little ones ride. If not there are still the MGM shows for the little ones and The Great Movie Ride.........and of course Fantasmic at night.I know that mine would be in the minority but they are such MGM fans.
Animal Kingdom however may well appeal because of the safari, the Lion King show, Camp Minnie Mickey, Pocahontas, ITTBAB and Dinoland. There is a lot to see.
Have a look at these two links for info and it may help you choose.

I would go for MGM. However, whichever one you do they will enjoy and the one you don't do, you can put on your list for next time ;) , because believe me, there will be a next time :d:

MGM without a doubt but this is what i would do......
go to AK for opening and stay until lunchtime so you can see lion king, pocahontas, bugs life, safari (make sure this is first thing you do) and then i would go to MGM for the rest of the day and finish of the day with Fantasmic which the kids will love:)

This sounds great and if you can do it this way then do it! But if we had to choose it would be MGM and I have 2 boys too although they are 9 and 12 but I think they would have chosen MGM over AK even when they were 3 and 6. Good luck - let us know what you decide - Jackie x

MGM all the way - AK is great but you will only be able to last a couple of hours in it - much more to do at MGM although with EE now open that may be more of a pull.

I too would pick MGM (its my favourite and the children love it too!)
We did enjoy AK, but if its one or the other, I'd go for MGM.
But you could do AK in half a day; if its not too long a day for your little ones, I think andi30's suggestion is a good one. Pick your highlights for AK and cover those (Lion King show, Safari, Tough to be a Bug), have a wander and then go to MGM. We didn't find MGM quite as tiring as the other parks as there are lots of shows to see, so you get lots of chances to sit down & have a breather! We lasted the longest there and didn't feel as exhausted as a shorter day at MK or Epcot!!
But whichever you choose, you'll have a great time!

It would have to be MGM for me. AK is my least favourite park out of all of them.

Without a doubt it's got to be MGM! There is so much to see and do there it would be a real shame if you missed it! AK could easily be done in half a day though so you could possibly sneak that in first thing in the morning then head off somewhere else!

have to differ sorry much prefered ak with the safari, bugs life and dinoland for the kids found there wasn't much to do in mgm, although little mermaid and playhouse disney was enjoyable there isnt much else there than this for the little ones
Sorry - AK for me - much better for younger children than MGM.

Animal Kingdom is my favourite, especially for the wow factor!
Even my Dh says Animal Kingdom and his favourite is MGM!
There is so much to do and enjoy at Animal Kingdom, just experiencing the different cultures alone in Africa and Asia. Plenty of shade and fun toddler things to do, eg, Camp Mickey, Dinoland, petting farm ect.
What ever you decide have a great time.
Kirsty, off in less than 24 hours:wave:

Both parks have their draws for your kids:
AK - Animals, including the animal petting
MGM - Something not mentioned yet Power Rangers
:D Enjoy whatever you choose :D

For kids of that age then MGM .......personally I think AK is better, but for that age group, there are more things of interest to the very young, some of which would not have the same 'magic' if they were to do it when they were older...I'm thinking of Disney Playhouse in particular.
AK has more for older children.

depends what your childrenare into. if they like animals and jungle stuff then Animal kingdom is your place. If they are more into movies, cartoons, shows etc then you will get more from MGM, i think its a personal choice thing and what your children enjoy
Just got back at the weekend :( I would also give a BIG vote for MGM. Our 6 year old DD loved it. I think it eventually became our fave park of all visited. Although Epcot is a bit special. Both of which we visited twice.
