love kraken shame its not themed more
Looks like Rockin' Rollercoaster is winning.
I think they are all good but what makes RRC stand out is the heavy rock music blasting in your ears...it just adds so much to the experiance.

I still love Kraken but it's only just in the lead now as Sheikra simply takes your breath away!
I just don't understand the love of the Hulk though - sorry to those who do - I just find that after the initial thrill of the launch it is too slow and rather dull...

After going on all the coasters in Orlando in September 2004 (busch gardens this time) the best coaster had to be the hulk, but the Kraken and duelling dragons were also very good indeed.
Looking forward to the coasters in Tampa Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee........Argh.......

Hulk, Kraken and RocknRoller Coaster are difficult to choose between. We haven't done Everest or Sheikra yet.

Love Hulk!!!
Just got back :( :(
We didn't do Universal, so can't comment on any there.
Now Sheikra was a surprise to us when we went to Busch, as we didn't know it was there! I went on it twice and it is amazing! RRC is a close second (did it 6 times!), with Montu also a close third.
I was dissapointed in Everest. Too jerky for my neck with no restraints.
My fave rides of all though are Mission space (twice) and Tower Of Terror (6 times!)

Love the Hulk and R&RR but im afraid Kraken beats them hands down.
It is soo scary that i rode it once and then stood and watched my dad, DH and DS's ride it time after time. Took me till my next visit to Florida to be brave enough again to ride it. Just when you think its over...its not !
Cant wait to try EE, 48 days and counting

I voted Rock 'n Rollercoaster as that's the only one on the list i've ever done! DH loves Dueling Dragons! I'm looking forward to doing the Mummy and Everest this year, but there's no way i'll be trying any of the others!:omg:

Montu was our favourite, but need to try out sheikra and expedition Everest in August might change our minds but Montu will take some beating,

Out of those I tried - The Hulk was the best! I'm a bit of a chicken and don't like the psychology of the slow up hill crank! Launching straight into it and enjoying the smooth ride was fantastic - and I could just enjoy it with out the torment!

Montu is just the best .. its the longest smoothest coaster in Florida.. it is just excellent!!
Kracken is my next fave, that is one thrilling drop.
used to love the Hulk but it has got rougher and rougher over the years and bangs my head too much. happens to all the 'sit in' style coaster I find
Sheikra looks so thrilling but was disappointing when I got to ride it.. OK but not the thrill I expected, infact the best bit was the climb to the top
Duelling dragons are good but too short
the others are good too ..infact I love them all in their own way ;)
Have yet to ride Expedition everest

Isn`t Sheikra just the oblivion from alton towers under a different name looks like it ?
Andrew, Debbie and Jake
Kraken for me although Montu comes a very close second. :spin:

Oblivion was the prototype for this sort of coaster (I believe) but Sheikra is far taller and much closer to a 90 degree drop (it may actually be 90 degrees) than Oblivion. It also goes into a proper coaster with a loop and a second drop whereas Oblivion just has the drop and then it is over!
Sheikra is the only dive coaster in the US and it is the tallest of the three dive coasters in the world.
And I agree with Villainlover that the climb is actually the best part, mainly for the suspense and the anticipation it builds!
Hope that helps :)

Oh the choices. I think each coaster has it's own merits, but had to plump for the Duelling Dragons, it had to be after riding it at night on the Halloween Horror Nights, it just adds a whole new element to the theming and the ride in the dark. Sheikra was a close second, although i do love the mummy. I'd vote for them all but feel it may make the results a touch invalid.

Going by the data on RollerCoaster Database it is 87 degrees. (http://www.rcdb.com/qs.htm?quicksearch=oblivion)
And Sheikra is 90 degrees. (http://www.rcdb.com/qs.htm?quicksearch=sheikra)
Just to be pedantic lol!
