We my hubby has agreed to take me away for my birthday and i fancy going to the new forest and stay in a romantic hotel, but so far all the hotels i have found say you have to book two nights but i can not get any time off.

Can anyone recommend anywhere?

HAve you tried Carey's Manor in Brockenhurst, Rhinefield House or The Chewton Glen?

Should be able to find them all on the Internet.

Don't know whether he still owns it but Rhinefield used to be Richard Bransons.

Balmer Lawn at Brockenhurst is quite nice too.

Did you want somewhere specifically in the middle of the forest? If you want a bit of forest and the sea, visit the Westover Hotel here in Milford on Sea (4 miles from Lymington) where I live - it's a lovely hotel and the food is fab. Each room has it's own name and colour scheme and the views of the sea and over to the Isle of Wight are stunning.

Otherwise, I would agree with Carey's Manor, Chewton Glen (many pounds!) or even the Rhinefield - what time of year are you planning on visiting? The forest is beautiful any time of the year (but then I'm biased because I live in it!), but specially so now with all the rhoddies and azaleas out.
