Folks,
Is Saorin still available at EPCOT. Was on this ride last year and it was the hightlight of the parks for me :spin: . I believe that the ride was on loan from California and in Orlando for a year ? Would love to do this again in Spetember - does anyone know if it will still be tehre ?

Yep, Soarin' is still there. I suspect it will stay, even though it was installed for the 50th Aniversary celebrations.

The ride is still there. It was copied from California but not borrowed. It is available in both Florida and California.
Was on it last Thursday (sob). Boy I would love to find the music they use.

I think they will keep all the 50th birthday celebration shows and rides, it would be too costly to remove them eg. motors, cars action or whatever it's called:confused2
i think the cinderellabration might change though, I hope soarin is there we missed it last year and i am looking forward to doing it this year:thumb:

Ahhh, it brings it all back   I did actually cry the first time I 'flew' on Soarin. Just such a moving experience. I lost a few man points though :)
I just wonder who did the score. Sounds like John Williams or somebody similar.
Thanks.
Can my 5, 6 and 9 year old go on it safely ?
I should have thought so Carys!:jump:

Yes, they would be quite safe - the question is more whether it would be a bit intense for the younger 2. Would suggest you ride it first and then decide if they would like it :)

It would not be scary at all for them, unless they're scared of heights.
Our 3 year old loved it.

They will love it! Unless they are super sensitive to heights. Our DD (6) says it's her favourite 'ride'. Go early though, it's the most popular ride at Epcot. Well, that and Test Track. Go early to one, and FP the other.
I don't know how much you know about the ride and I won't spoil it for you, but trust me, it's probably not as intense as you expect it to be. It's just.....lovely
Enjoy :)

Close it was Jerry Goldsmith. :)

This is one of my all time favourite pieces of music ever written. I play it loads and never get bored listening to it.

Great music. Closed my eyes and spent the afternoon Soarin. Just been reliving the Florida dream. Thanks for the memory.
P.S. Fantastic ride.

Hmmmm
I think I must have gone on a different Soarin' to everybody else:confused2
both myself and DH walked off it thinking "was that what everyone was raving about?"
Now Mission Space definitely lived up to the hype:thumbs-up
