Hi There

I think I read somewhere on the boards that there are two Fantasmic showings. Is this every night, just certain times of the year or have i made it up!!:erm:

There are only 2 Fantasmic showings at certain (peak) times of the year. Usually one at 7.30 and another at 9 or 9.30. Not sure whether it is only summer and Christmas or if there are certain 'holiday' periods whether there are 2 showings as well.

When we were there two weeks ago it was Evening EMH and there was a showing at 8.30, then one at 10pm just for EMH guests - I didn't realise they did this until we were there on the day!

Thanks for that Wilma-Bride:wavey: We're going in October, so I guess there will just be the one showing.

Yes, we are going in October as well - just 1 showing each night at 7.30 pm, although there may be an additional showing for EMH (not sure but we're staying off site so it doesn't matter to us)

when i was there last October there was just the one showing of fantasmic, i'd presume it will be the same again this year. It did get busy, so you'd be best off getting there in plenty of time to get good seats

Whilst we were there they had one evening when it was shown twice..
And each time it was packed to the hilt....
if you arrive after 8.30 for the 9pm showing its standing room only..
I chose the dining option and received my ticket and arrived aprrox 8pm...but dont shout me down here...I was a little dissapointed, after reading so much praise for the show on the Dibb I believe it to be a must.....but after being seated for an hour a bitten to death by midges I was a little dissapointed as I had seen something very similar to this many years ago in Australia and didnt think it was very unique...but that is just my opinion...many people watching it were amazed.....I think my expectation were a little too high for the trip!

Hi,

I also have to agree - went after reading all the hype and just didn't get it IMHO.

I think it's just a personal thing if your willilng to be amazed or not ... I did research into the way that Disney's marketing policies are excuted as a part of my degree and have found out that one of the reasons that shows such as this work so well is because you believe that you are going to enjoy it before hand, so when you get there you do...there is a lot more theory behind this but that is the basics...It's been 5 years since I've seen the show so I can't really remember much about it, but I'm sure it was great

It's each to their own, if everybody was the same it would be a pretty boring world!! IMHO I thought it was fabulous, i'd never seen anything like it lesewhere so I was blown away and cried loads!! However the midges did get on my nerves but i did forget about them as soon as the show started!!

We enjoyed fantasmic, but as we went in the busy Season late july/ early August, we took everyones advise and arrived early (8ish) to get a good seat. The place was crammed by 8.30. What was disappointing was the long wait, the children and adults were bored, and there was no pre-show entertainment.
