Another great addition to the 'brand',Stu.
V made me try loads of different things this year and we enjoyed them all.
2 days at Clearwater for a break from the hustle and bustle and a chance to see dolphins swimmin in a natural setttin.
Boggy Creek Airboats- much better than I expected and no flies in me face.
Gatorland - might not go back for a while but a canny mornin out.
She wanted to do the Rodeo but we ran out of time. I defo didn't fancy this at all. But, given her track record, maybe we should give it a try next time?
Does Cirque fit in this section? The best night out you'll ever have- and another I didn't want to do!
Dave,
sorry you didn't get to do the Rodeo, I know Val was looking forward to doing that. I was going to tell her all about it, but we too fell short of time.
Even though Cirque is in Downtown Disney I think it does come under this category.
Dave was this the Rodeo at Old Town where the compere (sp?) hurls insults at you???!!!
Did you get to watch it anyway???

would this be the shopping forum then? that was our main non-disney activity.
Bev
Bev,
your not trying to tell me that shopping isn't on the usual tourist agenda now are you . .
Yes shopping could go in here, if it starts to get busy I could seperate it into another forum - but we'll wait and see what the traffic is like .

Julie I got is as a surprise for my birthday.
It was in Dec 2000.....I am looking for the website at the moment.
It was brilliant..we started off on the 192 and flew over all of WDW including the hotels and water parks. The cost if DH can remember was roundabout $100 but it was well worth it. There were cheaper options and there was a more expensive tour. If I find the website I will post it so you can have a look.

Julie,
I have searched for the website and have only found this:
Orlando Helitours (http://www.see-orlandoflorida.com/moreinfo.php3?ZID23=1485&page=thingsdo&ClassID=3)
Here it is on a map:
Oralndo Helitours (http://www.kissimmee-us192.com/map/map4/Kiss192map4.htm#mm9)
Hope this helps .
Hi Silver
We went on an helicopter ride in April, they are also on the 192 further east next to the maze attraction called
Air Ventures Heli-Tours, Helicopter Attraction
They are a family run business, new lovely helicopter, we had found a voucher for a free childs place (min 3 adults) so we paid $135 in total for a family of 4, we flew over Epcot, MGM, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, All Stars, Downtown Disney etc, we all said it was one of the best things we've done.
Hope this helps

Hi Nikki, do you know what the minimum age for children was? We did the tour in '90 but the kids would absolutely adore a helicopter ride. My youngest is 3?
. 6 days & counting! .
