How many of these do you remember?

Lost Attractions  of Florida (http://www.lostparks.com/index.html)

We fondly remember Xanadu, house of the future - now a shell on the 192, and Boardwalk and Baseball at Haines City.

I'll scan in some pics later when I get round to it.

Cool!

We won a plush dalmation which we called "Spot" at the Midway - he insists on going to Florida every time we go - but he gets upset when we tell him he can't visit "home".

I also remember out first go at "whack-a-mole" there.

....I'm going back to 1988 here, but DW remembers it as CIRCUS WORLD, by the Ringling Brothers - gee...is she ancient! - LOL

True!

If you liked that one you'll love http://www.yesterland.com

It's an imaginary theme park composed of all the attractions that have been in DL and WDW over the years and closed.

Just imagine what you missed!!

Hi Bonzo.Just had a quick look at that site and it seems Cypress Gardens has been given an $11m investment to re-open it.
Should be open by Memorial Weekend..........apparently.

A fun site to spend a whole lot of time at:

www.roadsideamerica.com

Contains a lot of amusing information about America's weird and off-beat tourist attractions.
