Hi we are going in June and have a 3 year old travelling with us - her first time in Disney and we can't wait! Can anyone tell us about the Character dining- this is our 5th visit to Disney and we have never done this before.
Thanks - Michelle

It's a great place to meet your favourie characters as the interaction is generally great, especially with kids.

Have a look HERE (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/dining/diningFinder?location=&diningExperience=Character+Dining&cuisine=&submit=submit&x=7&y=7) for character dining locations.

Ooooo you'll love it. There's loads to choose from - but for a 3 year old I would recommend Crystal Palace at MK with Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore. She'll love it and so will you. Lovely food (it's a buffet - but what a buffet), and the character interaction is superb!

There's a link here (http://allearsnet.com/din/cb.htm) if you want to check out other places for character meals. Have fun!!

Welcome to the Dibb.

Our favourite is Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends. It is a great introduction to the characters as they will come around each table individually so your child gets some time with them on her own, great photo opportunities and saves having to wait in line in the park. Choose whichever location has her favourite characters, they are all good.

hiya we took our (almost 3 year old) DD to a few...Crystal Palace in MK was good you meet Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet
Breakfastosauraus in AK was with Donald, Mickey, Pluto and Goofey
I would make an ADR to guarantee my place as they get really popular.
The Garden Grill in Epcot looked good, we are booking this next year when we go.
the number to call is 001 407 939 8687 for all your dining ADR's

our dd who is just 3 loved Cape may Cafe at the yaht club resort. Buffet breakfast no queues for food good selection and minnie mouse Goofy and Chip in constent attendance. Loads of Character intereaction and loads of time with each table.
Also The Garden Grill in epcot was great Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. THe food here is brought to your table and you just keep requesting more as you want it.
THe Breakasourous in Animal Kingdon she didnt like as much as the characters only visited the tables once. We also thought it was a bit rushed and you had to queue for your breakfast at the hotplate we were on an early sitting so it might be better to go nearer the end of the breakfast.

Ohanas hated it the food was cold the characters took ages to come to the table and then stayed for for about a minute. My dd didnt want to leave until she had seen mickey we were at the table for nearly an hour and a half. As it was our last day we didnt want to upset her. when mickey finally got to our table he didnt even stay a minute. All my dd wanted to do was cuddle him and He/she who ever was inside mickey didnt want to be cuddled. Rubbish end to a great holiday.
