Any suggestions on where to hold our wedding reception meal? There will be a party of about 13 of us including a 2 year old, 3 year old, 7 and 8 year olds not to mention several fussy eaters. We quite like the look of Cinderellas castle and the coral reef restaurant. It will be on the 29th November.
Congratulations!
What time of day are you thinking of for your meal? Do you want table service or would a buffet suit the taste of everyone better? Characters or not?
Make sure you let them know it's your wedding day when you make your ADR
We've eaten at Le Cellier, Crystal Palace, Tony's Town Square and they were all very good - a different atmosphere in each.
A link to the WDW menus is here (http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm) - happy choosing

We haven't been given a time for the wedding yet but we are plannig to have an evening meal just to be safe. Characters would be great but are not essential. Ideally we would like a nice sit down meal but a buffet would be an option if we cant find a menu to suit all tastes.
Thanks for the reply.

I would call Disney Dining and ask where they would recommend based on your preferences. There may be some restaurants where you would get extra special service or a separate dining area for a wedding party. An evening meal at one of the monorail resorts would be lovely as you could go out to watch Wishes afterwards.

I would recommend the following in no particualr order
California Grill, contemporary resort
Jiko's AKL
Coral Reef
Chef de France
Yachtsman steakhouse at the Yacht club
Artists point at WL
Narcoosee's at grand Floridian (or Citricos)

We had our reception at Ohanas in Disney's Polynesian Resort. There was 14 of us including a 2 year old and this was a friendly atmosphere with a good selection of BBQ food brought to the tables on 2 ft skewers.
We booked the table for a time so that we would be able to see the MK fireworks from our table.

Last year we had our evening reception at the Yachtsman Steakhouse within the Yacht Club . The pitch was just perfect - we all wore our wedding attire and didn't feel out of place in the slightest, however it was 8 adults and the environment may be a little 'too much' for young children
I think that California Grill might be a good one to go for if you can get an ADR to coincide with Wishes - as long as the kids like fireworks :inlove:
Whatever you chose be sure to let Disney know and I'm sure they will provide soome little extras !!
