Just put a load of classics onto my e-reader for holidays mainly as they were free and I thought , a bit like mutley, i really should read them so I have some Tolstoy, Dostoevsky and Thomas Hardy - bit of light reading after the theme parks ! I have also added some Victoria Hislop , Karin Slaughter and Kathy Reichs too if the classics get a bit too much for me. Cant wait to start them all

I have just finished 'Phantom' by Jo Nesbo and 'The Wolf Gift' by Anne Rice. Having read quite a few of Anne Rice's vampire chronicles - 'Interview with the Vampire etc. this was very different. The Phantom was a bit confusing as I'm not really sure how it ended

Just finished Wicked Business - Janet Evanovich

and just started The Prisoner of Heaven - Carlos Ruiz Zafon. I love his books

I also have Blindsighted and Triptych by Karin Slaughter to read. Now i have been told her books are good? So i bought the first books in her two series...

Anyone a fan of Karin Slaughter or read any of her books?

I've read 4 of Karin Slaughter's book from the Grant County Series. They were my first venture in the Crime Novels and I have enjoyed them. The writting is graphic at times and is not for the squeamish. The four i've read are Blindsighted, Kisscut, A cold faint fear and Indelible.

Broken was a choice DIBB book club on month and I liked the look of it so after hearing it was part of a series I started at the beginning. The stories themselves can be read independently but the characters stories progress as the series develop.

I'm reading Monday to Friday man currently - a cheap Kindle buy, only 20p.

Ohhh let me know what you think - I've just downloaded this too but won't get round to reading it for a while

Jules77, I love Tess Gerritson's Rizzoli and Isles series. They keep me wanting to read more. Fantastic

Mmmmm I'm a little squeamish to say the least I will give them a go as i have bought them and it's something new

I had a really relaxing weekend - I started Jill Mansell's 'A walk in the Park' on Saturday evening and finished in Sunday evening

It wasn't one of her best stories, but still a nice easy read (hence reading it in a day ) - To The Moon and Back is still top of the list for me

Just read Call of the wild by Jack London. An old classic which I have never read before. A very good read and very different as it is from the point of view of the main character which is a dog.
