Plane seat belt extensions for big people?
After my unsuccessful attempt for the last 6 months to lose some weight before our trip,
Has anyone (big boned like me) asked or used a seat belt extension on the plane. Are they available? Flying Virgin. |
I would assume they have to be available on every flight. I have seen a passenger on a FC flight use one.
|
yes dont panic, just ask for an extention belt - its the one they give parents to strap infants too them during the flight ;) if you can get them on the likes of easyjet and bmi baby im sure virgin will be no problem :d:

I seen them used on our last flight last month, almost had to ask for one myself as was a bit close, i would imagine they would need to have a few available but i would mail them just to put your mind at ease., not sure what they would do if they needed more than they had tho..

Thanks everyone bit more reassured now, hope I don't slip out and onto the floor.
|
I use them all the time as i am VERY VERY VERY "big boned" :d:
I have never had a problem. There is no need to contact them in advance - just ask as you board. Virgin do have them and they are always discreet when they hand them out. |

You never know I may not need one on the return flight! Thanks everyone. |
Yeah! I've not needed them on VA flights as they seem to be that bit longer but I always have to ask for one on Ryanair and it's never been a problem.
|
I had to ask for one 3 years ago when flying with virgin they were very nice about it.

I've used them in the past, however this time i might not need too after losing weight. Sadly on the return i am bound to need one.:erm:
