We ate dinner here for the first time in years, (we prefer this as we don't do character meals). Great buffet selection and good service. |

2012 - breakfast - One of my favourite character meals. Great breakfast and loads of time with the characters. Just a bit out of the way for us and a trek if you have an early reservation and not staying in one of the Epcot hotels. Would highly recommend otherwise.
2018 - buffet - we stayed at the beach club this time so it was a must. We loved the seafood and crabs legs but have read that since covid, you pay extra now. At the time it was great value for money but I wouldn’t be so happy now. |

I'm not always a huge fan of using Dining credits for breakfasts but this is a pretty good one. The quality of the buffet is excellent and the characters are great. We'd recommend it. Great location in the Beach Club, close to The Boardwalk, a short walk to EPCOT and a 15 minutes walk to Hollywood Studios, with boats available as well. |

Ate at the dinner buffet here in February 2015. Lots of choice and good quality seafood available. Plenty for adults and kids alike. The seafood chowder was excellent, and the dessert choices were plentiful and delicious. Service was extremely attentive with drinks refills being brought frequently and without being requested. Atmosphere is really nice and location of beach club is good for a lovely stroll around the boardwalk or to EPCOT after dinner. |

Took our son for breakfast on his 3rd Birthday, we were a party of 9 in total, but easily accommodated at one large round table. Attentive and efficient server, who kept us topped up with coffee. The food was fresh and plentiful in not only quantity but choice and as such there was something for even the fussiest of esters.
Character interaction was very good and we met Minnie, Donald and Goofy. All decked out in their beach wear. The restaurant is large, light and relaxing with not to much noise, that can be a feature of a number of the other character meals.
It was pricey, but then you know what you are paying for before you go in. I would return to cape May Cafe |

We booked Cape May to use up one of our DDP credits and because we had read so many great reviews.
We were disappointed to be honest.
Service was ok, but not rushed which is so often the case in WDW
We tried a number of new foods including snow crab, clam and mussels. None were unpleasant and my Paella was lovely. but the food just wasn't great and it was such a shame as we had been looking forward to it.
I cant say we will be returning to this place, certainly we were pleased not to be handing over cash for the meal as we were using DDP.
Main observation was the state of the buffet, it was untidy and didn't make the food appealing which didn't help... |

Did not rate this restaurant and probably would not go back. Not much choice of food, long wait for our reserved table, waitress was that busy we had long waits for our drinks (not her fault) and overall not for us. |

We ate breakfast here whilst staying at the beach club, mainly as it was convenient.
The food was good, with plenty of choice and variety. The cornbread sausage pudding is excellent and the fruit selection was good.
The server was a bit "directive" in when we should get food, but I guess they need to make sure everything runs smoothly and people don't miss characters. Character interaction was very good, although we noticed that many of the American families had longer interactions than our table.
Price however was crazy, and I don't think it was worth anywhere near what we paid, and wouldn't book again simply due to that. |

This has become a favourite of ours over the years for one of the less well known character breakfasts.
Cape May has a very relaxed vibe which matches the beach theme all around you.
The food is good - a few different choices to some other breakfasts and you seem to get a decent amount of time with the characters.
Walk off your bumper breakfast by strolling over to EPCOT and entering via the International Gateway. |

This is a good option if u r staying at the beach club. Dinner has good choices even if fish, clams, crabs isn't your thing. As a veggie there was still plenty to eat, children's choices were good as well. Desserts were good, service we had was ok, not brilliant though. Think there are lots of other options for dinner that have the edge but for us it was convenient. |

The food here was lovely and one of the favourites of our trip.
My eldest son wasn't too keen to begin with but then found the crabs legs and he loved it!
Brilliant selection of food, fresh and hot.
The mini desserts were lovely too.
We were in Epcot for the day, so just got the ferry over and then walked back (probably took just as long).

We had dinner here, and what a gem if you like your seafood [no fishy people are catered for too]
Wonderful rich soups and chowders, along with a nice selection of salads for starters.
All the seafood is steamed in the middle of the square serving counter, so you are assured of the fresh cooked taste.
The crab legs are to die for, sweet, deep, fresh, tasting, my only complaint is that I ate too many!
Also on offer, were mussels, clams, shrimp, two different hot meats, veggies pasta and a kids section.
Desserts are on a different section, all beautifully done, either in little shot type glasses or a couple of bites size on plates. A really good idea, as you really don't want a large desserts after such a wonderful meal
This has become a must for us. |

We stayed at The Beach Club Resort and booked for the breakfast (9-20) on our last day. The staff were very friendly and our server advised us when to get our food so as not to miss Minnie, Donald and Goofy. The food was plentiful and varied with lots of fresh fruit which we craved after 2 weeks of DDP! We had 3 visits from each of the characters and lots of fun interaction. A great end to the hols. |

We ate here for Dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it.
When we checked in we were told they were running a few minutes behind. No problem and I'd rather be told than sit wondering if we'd been forgotted.
The buffet is pretty much standard fare but the desserts are amazing. They are so pretty. We wanted to pick up a tray of them on the way out ! |

When we arrived at the Security Gate at the Beach Club - we said that we had come for a meal at Cape May he said that we had to park at the Boardwalk overspill car park - it took an age to walk to Cape May and wasn't very happy. I asked the Hostess how long the wait for a table was and she said 20-30 minutes no more, so I made a reservation for the 3 of us. She asked if we were staying at the Beach Club I said No we were staying at Port Orleans. This was at 7.05 p.m. People we coming in and getting seated - we thought that they must have had reservations. Anyhow at 7.55p.m. my patience was wearing a little thin so I went into the restaurant and asked how much longer we had to wait as we were told max 30 minutes and it had now been 50. The seater showed me the reservation list and told me that he had been told we didn't want to eat until 8.25p.m. I told him this was ridiculous as if we were just going to sit waiting for a table from 7.05 until 8.25p.m. To be fair he found us a table straight away. We did have a good server but by now the whole experience had been ruined - by the Hostess - we found the food not that good - crab legs totally overcooked - fresh battered cod nuggets overcooked. It really wasn't worth the walk from the car, we felt we were treated like 2nd class citizens because we were staying at Port Orleans and not there. Will defnitely NOT return. |

Went here for breakfast, just me and the other half. Food was nice but just the exact food the resorts serve up, only in a all you can eat buffet style though. Its all filling breakfast foods - scrambled eggs, omelettes, fruit and waffles. So we only managed one plate each. Cost us $60 ($24 each + tax & tip) which we were shocked at. Not worth the money for a breakfast. |

Came for the character breakfast with DH and DS13. Did wonder if DS would really like it even though we had triple checked before booking! The interaction with Donald was the absolute highlight and had us all in stitches and we were lucky enough to see him twice. Food was excellent quality and loads of choice plus we were not put under any pressure to leave, perhaps because we had a lateish time. Also had a wander down to the 'beach' and sat on the swinging seats for a while to let our large breakfast go down! |

I loved this restaurant.. we stayed at the Beach Club so this was only a few minutes from our room. We found Cape May Cafe very clean, friendly and welcoming. The staff were well presented and really friendly and always there to help, whether it be to bring milk for the cereal, clear away the plates or take a family photo of you and the kids with the characters.
Minnie, Goofey & Donald come round to each table and are really good with the kids.. they were happy to sit at the table and pose for photos or stand together with you.
We ate here about half a dozen times over the two weeks and enjoyed every visit.. will definately visit again! |

I am not a big seafood eater so was a bit unsure about eating here for dinner. I need not have worried, the food was lovely with a very good variety. Of course there were plenty of seafood options but there were also great salads, carved beef which was delicious and lovely pasta.
The desserts were all small portions, buffet style so you can keep going back for more! The cookies were perfect! |

We had the character breakfast which was fantastic. Lots of interaction with the characters and the food was plentiful. They asked Donald to stay and sing happy birthday to our DD so that was lovely.
The only complaint was when we were first seated they tried to put us in a side room to the right of the restaurant as you walk in. It made me feel very claustophobic and our server was so surly - I asked to be moved to the main part and we duly moved. |

We stayed at the Beach Club so booked the Clam bake for one evening. My 3 boys asked to eat there every next evening until we left! They loved the choice on the buffet and especially liked the snow crab legs. Great ribs and a huge choice, including wonderful little desserts. Beautiful restaurant, just like the rest of the resort. |

This is one of my favourites!
We dined here to celebrate our 7th Wedding Anniversary and went for a long, lazy breakfast. It was perfect!
The Beach Club is a gorgeous resort and I always feel there is a more relaxed atmosphere at this property. The facilities and amenities are always clean and well kept.
The service has always been great whenever we've been and this time was no exception. We even received a chocolate cupcake and a congratulations card which was a lovely touch. We had good time with the characters - not at all rushed although the restaurant was quiet - and the food is delicious.
We love the bagels with smoked salmon, cream cheese & capers and the famous Mickey waffles! |

We had an early breakfast ADR here and we were seated soon after we arrived. The buffet selection was fantastic, and the food was great. We really enjoyed the character interaction, and the photos were great as the costumes are so brightly coloured! We would definitely return for breakfast, but we're giving dinner a time (no characters though :() on our next visit. |

We stayed at The Yacht Club and as we were disappointed with the Yacht Club Galley we decided to try here and we booked to go back again. It's a buffet style restaurant with a clam bake every night ;-) and you can help yourself and go up time and time again. The food choice was amazing. The tables have paper clothes on them so you can doodle while you eat which was great entertainment for my DD. It has a real New England feel. We loved this place. |

Dinner - OMG this dinner buffet is good for me every time – it’s easy, scrummy and good comfort food. It has changed over the years, I actually don’t think the desserts are anywhere as good as they used to be. They used to serve hot shrimp along with the mussels and the clams but now the shrimp are just on the cold, salad bar - they’re good but just not as good as they were when they were hot! I love how they now have the little pails for the clams and the mussels. The best thing on the buffet IMHO however is the Battered Tilapia – I swear this is nearly as good as the fish we have as fish and chips back here in the UK – To me it knocks socks off the below par cod they serve at Harry Ramsdens in the UK pavilion at Epcot. I saw one guest who definitely had the right idea and had requested a bottle of malt vinegar to go with that fish. The clam chowder is very good and the mussels were also incredible. Also on the buffet is chicken, carved flank steak, succulent fall off the bone ribs not forgetting the fresh salad bar.
Breakfast - One of our favourites and so happy to report that it has maintained it’s high standard although I fear there weren’t any hash browns on the childrens station... boo! Now this was my first visit here since the departure of “My Boyz“ otherwise known as Chip ‘n’ Dale and I was wondering how I was going to cope – but I decided to wear my Minnie Flip Flops and just suck up to Minnie Mouse although Donald was cute and again the interaction is very good here. The buffet food is fresh and of good quality, yes higher than offsite breakfast restaurants but so very worth it. |

We have had 2 character breakfasts here, and thoroughly enjoyed them both. The hotel setting is lovely, and really does suit the restaurant. The characters have always spent a lot of time interacting with our kids, much to their delight. The paper table covers to draw on is a nice touch and keeps the kids occupied. The food is good - pretty much the same as at most buffet breakfasts. There is a good selection, with freshly made food always being prepared. Our servers have always been very attentive, with free refills of soft drinks, tea/coffee. |

We came here for a character breakfast, the kids had a great time, good interaction from Minnie and her friends. The food was plentiful and the service was good but this visit felt more rushed that our visit in 2007.
Cape May used to be a gem but the secret is out and loads more people visit thus the experience isn't so good as it once was. Having said that I would still recommend this location for a character breakfast. |

We went for the all you can eat clam bake, A lovely setting, very friendly servers, who explained that we just kept going up and getting what we wanted, so yes being very british we got a bit of this and that to try and then go back for what we really liked, only to be stuck in the que behind people who knew about the oncomming famine! putting so much food on their plates that it was deifying all laws of gravity. but once we got over the initial shock it was a great place. |

Went for a 1st morning breakfast do dd aged 3 could say hello to minnie and goofy. We arived around 9.50 for a 10 seating and were given the buzzy flashy .thing to tell uswhen table is ready. The waiting area was very nice nice it was like a big plantation sort of house. Or at least what i image one to be like.
It was in the beach club resort. it was light bright and airy.
They showed us to the table at 10 and the glen the waiter came over with some orange juice.
THe food was well cooked and plentyfull and the characters visited the table a couple of times. As dd loves them and i think they interacte more if they get a good response.
Would definatly go there again for breakfast wonderful start to the holiday. |

We went back To Cape May Cafe for the Character Breakfast on our last morning as we'd been previously and loved the food choice. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, the characters (Minnie, Chip n Dale, Goofy) are all dressed in Beach gear and have lots of time for you we've found. Great choice of food and excellent quality, mickey waffles, donuts (sure they're krispy kreme!), toast, french bread, bagels, croissants, fruits, cereals, porridge, driend fruit, sausages, bacon, scrambled egg, omlette, potatoes, hash browns and I'm sure lots more. Highly recommend! Will be trying the Clam bake next time. |
