So today is my birthday……yay!
Magic Kingdom is our park of choice we are up,showered, have breakfast and are out by 8.15.
Its a beautiful start to the day again.

The drive to MK is about 20 and we park at Simba 11, we are fairly close to the T&T but we take one of these anyway

Est wanted to take the ferry as she said it’s the only way to get there first thing in the morning.

We head off and go through bag check, now this process really winds me up, I don’t know what they are checking for but its done so half heartedly and seems to take for ever.
We enter the park and head straight to SDMT, the queue is already 70 mins so we join as we have never done it before and failed to get a FP.

Really disappointed with this ride for me its just not worth the wait, yes I know you have the theming side which is ok but the ride it too short and not as good as Big Thunder sadly 72 minutes I won't get back.
We head to Space Mountain for our first FP of the day, Oscar was about 5mm off riding back in 2012 so we all touch our bands on the post and walk on through and have a short wait before we board

I don’t like the beginning of this ride the flashing lights as you go down the tunnel really make me feel sick.

We decide to ride the People Mover next as the queue is only 10 mins. I really like this ride, there are loads of great photo opportunities to be had like these.

While on PM we see Buzz is out so we head to him next for some photo’s.

Our reservation for BOG is fast approaching so we head on over, check in and join the queue which takes about 20 mins before we pay and find a table

We decide to sit in the Rose Gallery as it’s the lightest and quietest. Our food is bought up in 5 mins Est and I had Croque Monsieur the boys both have turkey sandwich it is nice if a little salty. It was a thing we wanted to do but not sure we would bother again.

We jump on the train and head to Main Street so I can get a birthday badge, then the “Happy Birthday’s” start coming, I don’t think I have ever had so many people wish me happy birthday in my life. From CM’s to complete strangers it goes on all day.

We walk through the shops on Main Street trying on the hats as you do and then on to Splash Mountain and Big Thunder for our final 2 FP’s.

About 3 .30 we decide to head back to the villa for a swim and then to Longhorns at Rolling Oaks for something to eat.

For starters I had a voucher for any started valued up to $9.99 so we chose Tonion petels to share sorry too yummy and forgot to take a picture.
For mains I had a 8 oz sirloin steak, Est had parmesan chicken and Luke & Oscar have ribs.
Our meals came with salad which was really nice infact the whole meal was great and the service was 1st class well worth a visit.

We then headed back to MK and get a message from our friends to say they are in Tony’s having dinner, so we pop by to say hello. We are meeting them on Tuesday to spend the day with them at HS. We say our goodbyes and head to see if we can get another FP with a photo on the way

we do and its for the Barnstormer. Just then the heavens open and we head to Pooh. During the queueing I get an email to say that my FP has been cancelled and I can ride any ride from the list using my FP. We decide to leave Pooh and head to Peter Pan which Est is desperate to ride.
We leave PP and head for the gates and back home for a well deserved sleep.
