Day 13

Our last full day , but a very busy one too! We had an early start and strict instructions for everyone to be out of the villa by 8am so we could get to IOA for opening. We had 2 attractions left to do, so we skipped breakfast and said we would eat once we left the park.

IHOP

We left the park at around 10:45/11 and ended up getting a little lost, our plan was to find the nearest IHOP on I-Drive but we took a wrong turning, we eventually found one and from speaking to the staff they told us they don’t very often get tourists in there.

Our server was called Jeff and he was without a doubt the best server we had our whole trip, he really went above and beyond with his service. Right down to when we were leaving he gave us a note of all his recommendations of things to do whilst in Orlando, we didn’t have the heart to tell him it was our last day .

Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate

A few of us ordered this to drink, it was a seasonal drink. Which is now also served in Costa and they taste pretty much the same.



Jeff came over as we were drinking them and gave us all extra pots of whipped cream, as he thought it’s better with more cream.

Colorado Omelette
“Filled with the savory things you crave — hickory-smoked chopped bacon, pork sausage, shredded beef, ham, fresh onions and green peppers and Cheddar cheese. You can also choose a side of three flavored pancakes for an additional cost. Enjoy it with salsa on the side.”

I chose the option of three additional pancakes on the side.



Raspberry White Chocolate Chip Pancakes

I seriously loved these so much when I had them, that I had to order them again.



This combo was amazing, the omelette was SO good, but so so filling. I had to stop eating it so I could actually have room for the pancakes.

Pancake Breakfast Combo

Kevin had the pancake breakfast combo, he chose the same as the other day.

Scrambled Eggs, Sausages and Hash browns, he also had the raspberry white chocolate chip pancakes:



His pancakes arrived before his savoury option and he wolfed them down before I could get a picture, so here is my picture of them from tthe last time we ate here:



Again we all really enjoyed our food here, it was tasty and the server really made sure we left satisfied, he kept coming over with extra pots of sauce, cream and nutella for those who had nutella pancakes.

Orlando Premium Outlets

We stopped off at the Orlando Premium Outlets to do some last minute shopping, we were still quite full from our late breakfast/ brunch. So neither of us fancied a full lunch today.

Lemon Heaven

We stopped off at Lemon Heaven for a quick drink, basically they serve you your plain lemonade and then you can help yourself to a syrup flavour, I had Cherry and Kevin had Lime:

I also grabbed a fruit "kebob" from Godiva, I love Godiva chocolate and can never help myself when I am in one of the stores.

Day 13

Longhorn Steakhouse

“The Last Supper”, we were going to Epcot tonight to watch the Fireworks so decided to stop in Longhorn on the way for our last evening meal.

Texas Tonion (FREE – with emailed coupon)

I had an email for a free appetizer, so we shared the Texas Tonion:

Me and Kevin both chose the same meal here:

Cabernet Short Ribs - $19.99
“Braised bone-in beef short ribs with a cabernet wine sauce, over white cheddar mashed potatoes.”

We both also got broccoli as our side.





This was AMAZING, honestly such a lovely lovely piece of meat. It was my favourite meal of the holiday and I am so glad I had in on the last evening , the rest of the group had serious food envy when they smelt ours.

Because it was the last evening we also decided we should squeeze in a dessert:

Molten Lava Cake - $7.49
“Rich dark chocolate with a creamy fudge center, served warm with vanilla bean ice cream.”



One of the highlight meals of the holiday, everything was yummy. We love Longhorn and haven't yet had a bad meal in here.

I actually prefer the Texas Tonion, the blooming onion is a little greasier!
