Rebecca's 1st Trip Day 12 Part 2 T-Rex and Downtown Disney

5th June 2009

The Jones Family

Me - Sally 43 Loves Disney
DH - Nigel 46 Likes Disney not as mad on it as me
DD - Rebecca 8 Loves Disney Princesses

We decided to head to Downtown Disney tonight to try and get a table at T-Rex as we had not made a reservation I did ring to try and get one but they said they only had availability at 9pm but we could do a stand by as they only reserve part of the restaurant.

So we got the bus to Downtown and went straight to T-Rex and joined the stand by line we were seated in half an hour so that was not to bad.

We were taken through to the restaurant to be seated they were about to seat us in the Ice Cave and Rebecca didn't want to sit there so they moved us to the Forest Area. So we ordered our food Nigel was obviously really hungry as he ordered the Boneyard Buffet with a side order of Onion Rings, where he put it all I don't know.

He also decided to try some american draft beers and the waitress recommended Yuengling it was in a large glass 21oz.

I was not quite as hungry as Nigel and decided that I would have the Layers of the Earth Lasagna and a Coors Light, the Lasagna came with bread.

Rebecca had the Kids Jurassic Chicken with Waffle Fries and a Discovery Blast Slush Drink.

Nigel was very thirsty digging his way through his meal so he had another drink this time it was a 21oz Sam Adams. We all enjoyed our meals tonight and suprisingly enough Nigel did manage to finish all of his meal, so we paid the bill $102.74 including tip what an expensive meal but most enjoyable.

Here are a few photos of the inside of T-Rex that I took on our 1st visit but I haven't posted.

When we left T-Rex we decided to have a look around the shops as Rebecca still had some money to spend. We went into the World of Disney and looked around and around and she just didn't know what to spend her money on as there was so much choice.

In the end she decided on a Silvermist plush $18.00 and a Hannah Montana T-Shirt that was in the sale $5.99 that was a bargain as it was from the Hannah Montana the Movie Range. I brought a Green Shopping bag that says every tree has character it is organic only $2.95 so I can take it to work.

We then went to Goofy's Candy Shop to get some sweets for Rebecca's Cousins we got one bag of Character Gummies and 1 bag of Character Sours for them and 1 bag of Character Gummies for Rebecca then we got a box of Disney Chocolate coins for Rebecca to take to school for her class to share, total cost $22.16.

Then we caught the bus back to the Hotel for an early night as we'd had such a busy day.

Day 13 Epcot

T-Rex looks great, we really hope to eat there next year. I must show my husband that photo of the Boneyard Buffet as I'm sure he'd really enjoy that

Lovely photos again.
