It started out as a weekend in Spain! - Day Three

Day 3 – Saturday 30th May

I awoke at 7.30am to find DH playing games on his touch as he had been awake since 6am and he was feeling absolutely fine but hungry after last nights sickness incident.

I suggested we went somewhere for breakfast where he could choose carefully and eat some thing light to see how he was; but of course I know nothing so DH chose to go to Golden Corral! A lovely breakfast (cake for breakfast is always a winner!) costing $17 for both of us – you really can’t go wrong!

The plan was to head off to Epcot, but as we were in the vicinity of the Nike Clearance store and DH wanted to go there we changed our minds and had a shopping morning. I have in my notebook that we visited the Target Superstore (on the 192 towards Kissimmee) and then Lane Bryant where I was so amazed to find trousers that actually fit properly (I have really trouble finding trousers to fit) that I bought 3 pairs of work trousers and two pairs of jeans! Over $200.00 lighter we left, but I was a very happy girl and my shopping enthusiasm was ignited. Next on the shopping trail was Lake Buena Vista Outlets where I am sure we also spent lots!

We headed back to Pop Century around 3pm all shopped out, but happily possessing lots of bags and new stuff! A little rest for an hour and we headed out for an early tea at my favourite place, Bob Evans. I haven’t made a note of what we had but I can guess that one of us would have had steak tips and noodles (‘cos we are predictable like that! )

A little later than anticipated we headed into Epcot and went on Living with the Land. Visited The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion, took a ride on a clam shell – not the most exciting ride but very cleverly done. Next up was Turtle Talk with Crush - soooo funny as always but completely reliant on the questions the kids ask!

Walked towards World Showcase via the Butterfly Garden, which was very pretty and peaceful.

We took the right hand route around the lake and in Canada experienced another first for me - O’Canada and then we stopped to take in an Off Kilter Show.
Wandered around World Showcase taking lots of drink and rest breaks as it was very warm and ended up watching Illuminations: RoE from the restaurant balcony in Japan before heading out of the park, back to Pop and refilling the mugs before retiring for the evening.



Another great day but a lot of shopping done – you will see this as a theme throughout the remaining days!
