Plastic bags? For water park use?

We are staying across the road from Wet N Wild, and it would be nice to leave everything there and just go across with towels and t shirts, just wear swimming stuff over there. That way we don't need a locker, then we realized that's ok but we still need somewhere safe for the tickets. I don't think leaving them with my bag is really an option.

We decided maybe ziplock bags were a good idea, twisted and cable tied for extra security. We can put them in Dans zip pocket and carry them with us. Has anyone else ever done this, or can anyone think of anything else to use instead that might work better?

we get those sealed plastic things - about the size of a cigarette case that has a rubber seal on the edge to stop water getting in you can buy them on i drive for about $2 in a variety of colours and stuff. they are on a drawstring so you can wear them round your neck or pop them in a pcoket

To be honest I think you would be safer with a locker, or maybe buy one of those water proof containers that hang around your neck? It really depends on how often you want to visit Wet N Wild. If it's more than one visit then invest in a water proof thingy. I wouldn't chance a plastic bag x

They're flextickets so it's definitely going to be more than once, I didn't think of a waterproof container. lol. Not only that but on my first day there I got drenched by dolphins at Seaworld. They decided it would be funny to flick water over the watching guests. Luckily someone else had all the things but you know better safe than sorry.

I'll have to get on ebay and see what containers I can find.

You'll have tickets, cash or cards, room keys, maybe expensive sunglasses.

For me I'd just pay the $8 for a locker.

I agree with Jakey.. not worth scrimping on renting a locker after paying a lot of money to get there.

Lol, because we are right across the road we are going there in swimming stuff. The only thing taken off is the t shirts. I wear board shorts with my bikini underneath.

I only decided on a waterproof thingy because we were hoping to start some days with a morning swim. If I only went to Wet N Wild a couple of times I wouldn't bother but we were hoping to be there a lot. If we change our mind and decide to go to Aquatica more instead, which we probably will lol, we'll get a locker. We'll have more stuff to put in it then. Also it would be good for water rides, I don't like to leave my bag by the side of the rides, and it would save me time messing with a locker if I can just get straight on them. I can leave my bag but keep my valuables on me in a waterproof neck thingy. Especially for Bilge Rat Barges.

And as I say I got soaked through, and I mean soaked through on the first day last time. Swallowed half the dolphins pool water when I shrieked too. Might just keep stuff in them as a precaution. I'm certainly clumsy enough to drop them in a fountain or something anyway.

we use the waterproof cases all the time over there - cannot fault them. DH usually loops the cord through belthole on his shorts or trunks and in 4 visits our case has stayed watertight - just try it before you go. normally stick parktickets, cashcard and some spends in it and has been fine - we use it in every park!!
