Going solo - East Coast/West Coast Adventure - Day 2

Day 1 can be found here.

Day 2 – Disney, Disney, Disney!

Was up really early today due to jetlag, caught the ART shuttle from my hotel to Disney Transport Centre, only took around 5 minutes, so was in Disneyland just before 8:30am, managed to do Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones Adventure by 9:30am as it was so quiet!

I then headed over to DCA to get a fastpass for WOC, the queue was crazy, ended up queuing for around 30 minutes, but got a fastpass for the 9pm show. I then went on Soarin' over California, as it was close to the Fastpass area for WOC, and I took advantage of the single rider queue, I thought it which was amazing, loved it! Also did Tower of Terror, so managed to do a few of the big rides before 10:30am. Result! I then grabbed a bite to eat and decided to treat myself to a pedicure at the spa at the Grand Californian.

After my pedicure, i headed back to Disneyland and went on Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise and Splash Mountain. The parks were not that busy, although took advantage of the single rider line at Space and Splash Mountains, as the wait time was showing 45 mins.

I then went back to my hotel to have a quick rest and freshen up before heading back to DCA for the World of Color show, the temperature dropped slightly, so was a bit cold waiting to see the show, and the area surrounding Paradise Pier where it’s held, was a bit chaotic! But the show was fabulous, loved the music it’s set too. I have a short video that I took on my iphone so once I figure out how to put it up, I will!

Another early start tomorrow as i have the 8:06am Amtrak booked to get to Hollywood.

Fab day, like the fact that you did the big rides early, so, you could have a little 'pamper' session! Then watch WOC - great.

Great day and being able to take advantage of the single rider lines sounds like a real plus and having some pamper time too making a busy day seem pleasant and relaxing rounded off with WOC as the icing on the cake!
