Let's Do This Thing! AKA Keep Calm and Say Ba! Sept 2010

Finally got around to putting together a trip report from our travels last September

Bit of background:

Me – Laura (31) – long-time Florida-holic. Obsessive planner and spreadsheet lover. First trip was with DH in 2001 for our wedding at Cypress Gardens.

DH – John (36) – LOVES Florida and coasters but not too bothered about planning and lets me do it all (although I can’t say I mind - I’d only have to double-check everything anyway!). Big kid at heart, he can’t wait to go.

DD – Niamh (3) – aka Noodles, Niamhy-Noo etc. Gorgeous little girl but DOES NOT STOP TALKING. Unless it’s a character or someone asking her a question and then obviously she completely forgets how to talk. Does everything at 100mph – if she wants to do it, great! If she doesn’t – EEK! Very excited about her big holiday.

DS – Fin (13 months) – aka Dinks (as he’s quite dinky in size). Another bundle of energy toddling everywhere. Loves everything and everyone and follows his sister’s lead. Views sleep as time wasted.

This trip report is going to show the good, the bad and the ugly. I wanted to be as honest as possible so others don’t repeat our mistakes! Travelling with young children can be stressful but despite this we had the best time and I wouldn’t change any of it. Re-reading some of the reports it sounds like Niamh did nothing but play up in the first week but she also had some wonderful, blissful moments that made everything worthwhile. All in all, I would do it again in a heartbeat. So, on with the show!

Hello to a fellow Swindon

Yes we did see it - it's in a flowerbed in Epcot and did take us a while but we found it in the end . Couldn't have gone all that way and not had a little slice of home
