Vegas first time 2011 Day 3

To day was our first proper day in Vegas so we got up early and went down to the casino floor it was quite bizzy and very noisy I never been to A place like this before. We watched for a while. We then walked down the strip past a few of the hotel’s These are so big we walked as far as the MGM hotel and casino and went for a look around it was a few days before the Big boxing match and the MGM lion was in a boxing ring.

We had a snack Maria was getting tied so I said we could catch the mono rail back to our hotel which we found and did we used this a lot of times dueing the holiday and well worth the 3 day price. We went back to the room a quick shower then went out a gain Maria felt better after her rest so we decided to go back to the MGM and go to the lion habitat. It was very Bizzy we had a look around and saw the trainer with the lion

with the lions all so the cubs very cute

The lions seem vey happy I know they are housed about 10 miles from the MGM hotel.
We decided to have a walk along the strip and had a look in the shops which we did. We walked back to Paris/Bally Mono rail station then rode back to the hotel. Maria looked a bit under the weather so I asked if she minded me playing in the poker tournament at hannah's hotel the next one from imperial palace. You can get to them both via Mono rail connecting station she said yes but just to be sure that I did not put any money in the slots I left all the money a part from my stake in the room . I came 6 out of 27 I was back in the room by 11 pm Maria was feeling better.

Day 4 next

We like the lion habitat, we prefer to go in the evenings , the lions seem more lively then, they always look happy enough to me in there and i have heard some like it that much they have trouble getting them back to the ranch lol.

Yes very true We did go there one night and it was so Bizzy we could not see the lions only heads LOL

Nice first day! The casinos and crowds do take some getting used to. You did well on the poker!

Thank you it was a big ambition to play in Vegas (not large stakes just small I am so glad I did)

Well done on the poker and we didn't d the lions last time we went, but I think we will this time, so nice to see some pics.
