We cruised rc for our honeymoon, loved it... If there is a bar you
I've the look of and will spend some time in I strongly recommend you tip the main bar man big on the first/second drink or two... You will be looked after for the rest of the cruise... I nearly died when knew hubby tipped the batman £60 on the first nights rounds... About 100 percent... But his uncle was right we were well looked after for the next ten nights :-) my best day was using the spa and treatments on a day when we were docked... All the facilities to myself... Or very few of us :-)

I am going on my 5th RCI cruise in september , have enjoyed every single cruise , I can't help with info on Monach of the seas as we have only ever done Voyager and Freedom class and those are the bigger ships , it all depends what you want out of the cruise , if you are cruising with children ,there are all sorts of things to take into consideration .the food is good , the crew are good , the ships are spotless , monarch is quite old but I read a review recently saying she is still a lovely ship , obviously some small signs of wear and tear but that's to be expected , I can recommend RCI , we did one cruise with P&O just to try it out and both agreed that we prefer Royal .
Linda .
Everyone has already said about all the great things you will find on Royal ships. I have done 3 with their sister company Celebrity, which is just a little more upmarket -extremely nice but not to my taste - and 9 with RCI, so they certainly have my vote

We absolutely loved our 4 day cruise on the Independence, and I couldnt fault RCI service. Everything about the whole experience was wonderful, take a look at my picture trippie (in signature below) for a look at the ship, theres a lot of food pictures as the dining was superb!
We did the RCL 3 day cruise on Monarch of the Seas, our first cruise!
IMHO, ship was great, very clean, great staff/shows/food.
Great atmosphere.
One 'formal' night in the main restaurant but if you didn't want to dress up there were plenty of other restaurants to visit. We enjoyed dressing up for one night but wouldn't have enjoyed the whole diamond and tiaras thing every night
Lots to do on board.
Our favourite day was at Coco Cay - paradise!
We did the optional glass bottom boat cruise here.
Wasn't sure if cruising would be for us but I think RCL have got it just right, we can't wait to return.
