All of our dreams did come true! Day 8- IOA & getting drunk

8th August- Islands of Adventure and City Walk

To get to IOA we did the sensible thing and actually booked the Mears shuttle and got to the park at 7.50am wahoo not 3 hours later! The park was really quiet at this time we did spiderman twice with no line and walked in to the hulk. Next up was Cat in the Hat I love this ride such a kid haha.

Next up we went on the train in the air ride why!? I don't know why but this t shirt made it worth the wait...

Ah could we be any further away from Disney
Decided to go over and brave Harry Potter and it was of course crazy busy I think it was worse than last time we went and it had only just opened
Went on dragon challenge which was good fun and then went to grab a butterbeer yummy! Had to get in line for Forbidden journey 90minute wait rubbish but it turned out to not be that long phew it is a fantastic ride but it broke down right at the end which did spoil it.
The whole area was so packed it wasn't really that enjoyable and we both love Harry Potter so it was a shame.
Next up was all the wet rides wahoo. Started with jurassic park Dan had not been on this before but he thought he had it all figured out "Oh now we will see a t rex and go down" er na mate you are at the wrong bit! Of course our next ride was popeye amazing and we of course got soaked which was fine as we had a change of clothes phew. Rip saw falls was broken down so we couldn't do that one. We had pretty much down IOA such a great park! So we headed back to Universal for a well deserved cocktail mine was called shark attack it tasted gooooooood

We then had one last ride on The Mummy sooo good and I had to go back to the Despicable Me shop and the minions came out again so it
was round 2 of dancing but this time with two of them!

Half price and very strong drinks! So after we needed to sober up so went to get some food at Bubba Gumps!

We have never been here before the theme is great and the trivia quiz was fun Dan was super fast we so beat the table next to us haha.

It was also our first outing with our new child cletus I just could not resist getting one

We had booked tickets for The dark night rises in IMAX now to say Dan loves this film is an understatement (we have already seem it three times at the cinema and counting...) I do really love it as well though and it was cool to see it in IMAX with very comfy chairs!

After the film you guessed it more drinks

Then to finish the night some dancing at this outdoor night club the music was sooooo good we danced like a couple of legends as we really didn't care what we looked like haha such good fun!

We caught our bus back to the hotel and both felt pretty sick in the early hours ooops too much alcohol

Ooh is this outdoor club always open? We will be staying at HRH on 30th April & 1st May next year and would love to get a bit tipsy and have a boogie!
