Tuesday 14th August - Shopping and Bahama Breeze.


Today was shopping day... oh great, I love shopping

We were up and out by 10 and into IHop on the 192 and on the way we saw the sky wrighter doing his stuff.

IHop is my new fave place for breakfast, O and L had the chocolate pancake.


Esther had the Smoked House Combo, the smoked sausage with this was really nice.

I can't remember what I had but I know it has sausage, bacon and eggs. It also came with a side of Cinn-a-stack French toast which was really good.


We had decided to go to Altamonte Mall which a few Dibbers had recommended. It was about a 45 min journey so not too bad. We really went for A and F plus a visit to Holister. The prices were really good I got 2 t-shirts 2 hoodies and a pair of jeans for $185. Esther got some stuff too. When we went into A and F at Mall of Mellina the same stuff was over $100 more expensive.
We also went into Premium Outlets on iDrive, It was pouring with rain when we got there Northface first, nothing for us in there or anywhere else to be honest. I am not sure this is the best place for bargains it seems too much of a tourist trap to me, I was bored inside five mins.
Time was running away with us fast and before we knew it it was coming up to 6pm and my stomach was rumbling, so we headed down idrive to Bahama Breeze , the place was huge. We were seated straight away. We ordered drinks, I had a beer Esther had a really nice Pina colada, O and L had Sprite, we also ordered a stack of onion rings to start, they were delish.


Next I had the chicken curry, Esther had a burger with goats cheese and avocado she told our waitress that she didn’t want the avocado on it which she made a note of, O and L had chicken tenders.


When our meal was bought out Esthers burger had avocado in it, it was taken back straight away by the waitress and a new one bought out minus the avocado she also offered Esther another Pina colada on the house to say sorry.


The food and service were great we also had a visit from the manager to see if everything was ok. All in all a very nice experience.

Back to the villa for a drink then bed. Tomorrow back to Epcot

Quite fancy a visit to the Altamonte Mall myself for the same reason as you but DH isn't so sure - this might just persuade him

Altamonte Mall is such an easy drive, straight up I4 to exit 92 turn right on E Alomonte Drive and its just up on the left. It took about 45 mins from the junction of I4 and Highway 27.
DW wishes we had stayed longer but time got the better of us, maybe next time

My kind of day ... shopping and Bahama Breeze...we are going to Altimonte Mall to see if we can get any Hollister/A&F bargains...
