Do under 3's eat free?

When we go in October Katie will be 19 months. One of my friends said she will eat free. Is this true & do I need her passport for proof etc?

Thank you xx

yes under 3s eat free at all the resort buffet restaurants. They don't eat free at counter service or table service restaurants though, but you can always just ask for a spare plate and give her some of what you're having in those.

You won't need to take her passport as proof, just tell your waiter her age .

SHe will definitely eat free in any buffet restaurants you go in, and in some TS restaurants they also offer a free 'toddler' meal (not from the normal kids menu), but I am not sure which restaurants (seem to recall someone posting Auberge and Cafe Mickey, but I would just ask when you go). She won't get anything free at CS restaurants.

Regards asking for proof, we have never been asked for proof when DS was under 3yrs but it is probably wise to have something just in case, specially if she looks like she might be older.

Last time they just handed us the menus 2 adults and one child which specified 3 to 12 (I think) I asked if they had anything else as she was only 12 months old he said that under 3s order from the menu at no cost. She got a entree, desert and drink in a reusable cup.

I will let you know if it works again next week.

At Auberge we didnt have to ask we were just told she would eat for free and Inventions they just said she can have as much as she likes at no extra charge.

I called them a few weeks back and the lady said that my 3 year old would be free as I explained he ate very little. He is small for his age so I am hoping they stick to their word and I am not having to fork out full price for 1/4 of an eaten meal.
She also said she would put a note on my account.

Same here DD is 18 months still in 3-6 months clothes she barely eats a meal and I wouldnt order and pay for a meal for her it would be a waste.

My son ate free in all the restaurants when we were there - he got the same as my daughter who was 4. We ate in Walts, The Steakhouse and Cafe Mickey along with some buffet ones!
