Best and Worst of our 2012 Trip

All these opinions are made with the two children in mind.

Best Park – Has to be MAGIC KINGDOM as this is where the boys were at their happiest

Worst Park – To be honest there wasn’t one, the one that we found most unsuitable for our young boys was UNIVERSAL STUDIO’s but even that still has Barney and 2 wonderful play areas. We did complete this quite quickly, but then we did skip parts of it that we had done before.

Best Ride – After asking all of the group it has to be TOY STORY MANIA that was the one we all went on and loved.

Worst Ride – This was very difficult as they were all great, although not really a ride the BUSCH GARDENS train ride was very disappointing as we never saw many animals. In fact I think the majority of the animals are kept away for those who purchase the Serengeti Safari tour.

Best Show – Although I didn’t see it this time, I saw nothing that beats the LION KING at AK. We also loved MONSTERS INC LAUGH FLOOR

Worst Show – Has to be the FLIGHTS OF WONDER show at Animal Kingdom, to cheesy and quite boring

Best Restaurant – TEXAS ROADHOUSE – a new one for us all and definitely one we will go back to. Special mentions for SMOKEY BONES, MANNYS & OLIVE GARDEN as well

Worst Restaurant – Unfortunately goes to APPLEBY’S, due to the poor service and mediocre food we received. Based on food quality though it would be LOGANS ROADHOUSE

Best New thing we did – LEGOLAND was impressive and well worth our money as it suited Jacob. From an adult point of view the RIP RIDE ROCK IT roller coaster was excellent and CHEETAH CHASE at Busch Gardens was also good.

Things we need to do next time – Go for longer (I wish), play more mini golf (Universal & Fantasia Gardens, fill Jacob’s autograph book (he missed a few characters), Phineas and Furb adventure at Epcot. We never stayed for a fireworks show, as the boys were also too tired, tbh so were we! But would definitely like to see one with both my boys in the future.

Just being able to take my 2 boys to Florida is amazing in itself, I never tire of seeing the expressions on their faces, and I am a firm believer that your children are never too young and you can do it no matter what their age, they may not remember it, but you will always remember the look on their precious little faces!
