Three Go To Orlando. Day 5 DTD & MNSSHP again! 5th October 2012

Today was meant to be DHS, but first thing, I went to see the concierge about last nights Halloween Party expecting to be given a refund, so I was really pleased when she offered me replacement tickets either for tonight or Monday – as we were leaving Pop on Monday morning, I decided to go for tonight, so we decided against a park and went to DTD instead...the weather seemed to be getting hotter & hotter!

We had breakfast at



I had Ham & Egg, Mike had the breakfast BLT & Cody had Bacon, Egg & Cheese, a fruit cup & a Chocolate and Banana Smoothie, I made the mistake of ordering 2 Earl Grey Lemonades for me & Mike – not realising it was made from Earl Grey (doh...I know! ) we didn't like it much but the food was lovely and cost $25.

I did a fair bit of shopping, including the Christmas shop



and we generally had a good browse





I had to draw the line at Mikes request



and got a cookie each for later from Goofy's Candy Co we walked round to Wolfgang Puck, and got cold drinks then got the boat back from West Side to Marketplace where we sat outside Girhardellis with gorgeous ice creams ($28)

We got back to PCR early afternoon and the thunder, lightning & rain came again, Cody had a couple of hours in the arcade while we just had a rest! We were really undecided whether to bother with MNSSHP after last night, but we had dinner in All things Pop (2 x Pepperoni Pizza, 1 Cheese Pizza, 1 Fries, 1 Chilli Cheese Fries, 1 loaded Tacos $38) and by the time we had finished the storm seemed to have passed so we decided to risk it.

We got to MK around 7.15pm



it was dusk, it was warm and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was incredible, we went to Woody's Dance Party & Cody got a photo with Bullseye



We rode the rides we missed when we spent the day there (BTM was brilliant in the dark!), and it seemed reasonably quiet so we got a prime spot for the Boo To You parade at 8.00pm – the Headless Horseman was awesome and the parade itself was fantastic, I thought it couldn't get any better but then it was Hallowishes...oh wow...one of the highlights of the trip for me, Cody took a video of the whole thing & I can't stop watching it.

A lovely day and a fantastic night that I'll remember forever..

Now I do like earl grey drink it 90% of the time so must try the earl grey lemonade

They were! I only wanted a cone It was a little larger than I had in mind

It is an acquired taste I think! Mike NEVER drinks tea of any kind so he really didn't like it, I just found it a bit weird
