Booking Seats with Virgin
We have had our seats booked by the travel agents with Virgin as I am a fearful flyer. The travel agents have given us the seat numbers but I can't seem to find anywhere that tells me the layout of the 747 from Manchester with Virgin.
Does anyone out there know where I can view the layout so that I can see where the seats are that we've been allocated I would feel so much better if I knew where I was going to be sitting (I know that sounds really pathetic - I can't help it! thanks Gaynor |

Hi Ya
We booked through Virgin and the travel agent pre-booked our seats also. I was very excited and needed to see where we were on the plane exactly. Log onto the Virgin Atlantic web site and go the 'Manage Your Flight' input your booking reference number and then you can access the airplane seating plan and see where you a positioned. Good Luck! If you go into the Virgin Holiday website and click on manage your booking providing you have your invoice details you should be able to pull up a seat planner and view the aircraft and seat numbers. Have you flown on a jumbo jet before? If not you will find it is much smoother than a smaller plane, in fact most of the time you will not realise you are flying. We flew with Virgin from Manchester in July and had seats 47abc and 48 abc which were just behind the wing if that helps.
Try not to worry too much, I think Virgin do a course for people who hate flying if thats useful. Have a great holiday. Jules_c |

Thanks very much for all your replies. I'll go and check out where I'll be sitting.
Jules c thanks for your support I'm sure I will be fine but I just get very nervous. The kids and hubby really try to help me but I think I'm a lost cause! thanks everyone once again Gaynor |

go to V-Flyer.com and look up the seat ratings section, you will get a seat map and the community of VA fans ( me included ) on that site have even given their opinions on the seats.
They will also be more than happy to help in their forum. Try it you will love it, if it wasn't for V-Flyer I wouldn't have found this fab site. |

it does say last minute changes can be made, but also 24 hours before some more desirable seats can be made available too
which can be grabbed. |
