Baggage allowance changes
For those flying an American based airline they announced baggage changes. Basically you have to pay for the second checked bag.

Does the new policy apply to international travel? No, the new baggage policy only applies to flights within the 50 U.S., Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Canada. An itinerary such as Austin to Houston and connecting to London, or Beijing to New York/Newark and connecting to Boston will not be subject to the new fee. The other sites I have checked also state that it is for domestic flights only. |
