Taking Teddy To Tennessee Travel Day 2

Up at 7 and walk to the United check in desks. Did well got through there and security within 20 minutes got gas track security with priority access we had booked with United.
1st port of call was Frankie and Bennys for some breakfast not that hungry so a coffee and pain o chocolate for me and toast for DW.
Spent a bit of time looking round some of the shops and made out way to gate 300 which meant we were to be bused out to plane.
Boarded at 10.05 and due to go at 10.55 however they had to wait for a plane coming in from Stockholm with quite a few people connecting from it. They got on plane at around 11.15 and we were then told as we had missed or slot would be another 40 min wait😕

Finally took off at around 12 an hour late! We have a connection to make in Washington so a little concerned about it however they managed to make up a half hour so only 30 mins late in arriving.
Immigration was a breeze as we were returning Estas could use electronic immigration so through that picked up our bags and rechecked them in and through security all within half an hour result!

Not really much to look at at near the gate we went from there was a Starbucks tho so a mocha frappichino it was.
Boarded at 4.55 supposed to take off at 5.20 but delayed as they still hadn't put all the bags on plane and there was also backlog of flights to take off. Plane was very small a 52 seater we eventually took off at 6pm for an hour of a bumpy flight 😧

Landed at Knoxville airport at just after 7 and what a lovely small airport it is.
We grabbed our bags and walked to the Hilton Airport hotel where we were staying for the night and bagged an upgrade to club room which was perfect meant we got to club room for a bite to eat and breakfast tomorrow morning.
Got back to room and crashed out at around 10pm .
