The opening ceremony would start at about 8:45 but you would need to be there a bit before that to get into position. We arrived at 8:30 last time and stood by the railings outside of the turn style area to get a good view, it was also less crowded there. The two times we've been for the ceremony the monorail has not been operating first thing in the morning from the transportation centre so allow extra time for the ferry, if you are coming from there.

The park hours tell you the time of the opening ceremony.

Just click the (i) or park logo on the day and it will pop up tons of info.

If the park opens at 9am it will be at 8:40am.

Not all the info is on there until about 4 weeks before. But you can work out what times things will be.

Note: when we were there this year it started a few mins early (used to be like clockwork) so definitely be there by 8:40. The train was coming but fortunately Mickey hadn't got into the station when we arrived - would have been gutted otherwise!
