Mobile Can't decide - Help!

Hi
I originally planned to take the family (2ad, 1 ch and 1 toddler) next may half term to DLP, staying off site and buying an annual pass. However last night got looking at going New Year's Day instead - for around the same price as May but staying on site but no annual pass. My dilemma is when do I go?
Both have there pros and cons so would be great to hear your thoughts.
Thank you.

Go in May, get the APs and go next New Year using your AP. With a toddler , I think I would go for May, only for longer hours and better weather. Transport disruption would also be a worry in winter.

New Years Eve is obviously very busy too. We usually go when its quieter but have been twice for New Year and it is rammed full. it's a great experience, but may would probably be better with a toddler. Also, you can then go back with you AP and stay in a cheap hotel. you get lots of perks with an AP.

I would go in May to get the full experience - good weather (!) and longish days.
Buy an annual pass, then go again for New Year (stay offsite?) and do the bits that you enjoyed most. If it is wet, then you will have already done most stuff and won't be too disappointed. It WILL be cold, but as long as you're prepared, it won't be a probelm.
If you all have annual passes, you could book the onsite hotel for just one person, then add the others on arrival for around a Euro per night each.

Depending on the dates of May half term, your AP may be still valid for the year after's half term.

As you have one child in your party, have a look around for places that sell childrens APs, they are cheaper but don't sell them at the park. We bought our son's Fantasy pass for £75. We'll buy our adult passes at the par as we can get discount on them.

We have been at the end of January and it was great it was cheaper and a lot quieter. We got to stay on rides for 2nd and 3rd goes instead of having to re-queue. It was rather cold and a bit wet but we just wrapped up warm and had a whale of a time!
