Wheelchairs on planes

We have already booked with Virgin with my DH in his electric chair. Just thinking of trying to get around by getting a hire car in Florida. I really really want to go to some places on I-Drive and to Universal but we are staying in Disney.

So are we able to take his Manual chair AS WELL so then I can just hire a car and his manual chair which folds up could easily go into the boot or even into the back seat area.

We are in Premium Economy with Virgin.

I would of thought that be fine. I took my manual on Virgin PE but hired a scooter as mine wasn't a heavy duty one with a good range on before. My electric chair now is better, but am sell going to hire one as its easier for us to do this.

I don't think you will be able to take two wheelchairs for your DH, one each, yes.

2 passengers 2 wheelchairs shouldn't be a problem, you will need to call special assistance as they can only accommodate a limited number of wheelchairs on each flight. They will need to know the dimensions and weight of the non folding chair.
