In that case I would definitely look into getting the Q-Bot.

If travelling to Carnival, check how you're getting there.
No buses run at all in the carnival area which is quite big so you could have a long walk to get to the border of the carnival area to catch a bus.
Re tube stations in the carnival area, some close completely and some are exit only so again you could have a long walk to a station you can enter and they will be packed.
The best plan is to walk a fair distance from the carnival area to get on the tube/bus.
Don't wear jewellery and carry what you need on you not in a bag if you can, eg, minimum money, travelcard etc.
Sunday (Kids day) is less crowded but it will still be massively crowded.

Hi!

I would definitely get to Legoland before opening and dash to the submarine ride. We did this in April and walked straight on it. However when we came out queues had already built up to an hour for driving school and such like.
Hate to say it but we did 5 rides in the whole day
I would defo look at Q bot but it's not cheap.

Can't help you with the days I'm afraid but I'm guessing it will be busy both days.

Soooo much to do in London!

Have fun

I think the advice re personal safety for the carnival should be adhered to. I would make sure I had no unnecessary bags on me or Iphones in hand or anything that could be a distraction. It would be a bumbag and keep a tight hold on your children. It's the few criminals who give the carnival a bad name. Never been to Legoland but my daughter went to Thorpe Park on Sunday and she got there just before it opened. She said it was the best time to arrive and they got to go on everything - but only the one time.

Sunday is better as it's "family day" but in all honesty it's a nightmare. It's so busy and so full of drunk people (I know as I used to be one of them! And lived 3 stops away from Nottinghill) Just the train stations themselves are terrible on carnival weekend .
I'd skip carnival and go to Legoland but set off early .
