First Trip, draft plan, Ideas very welcomed!
NOTE: as we are a couple, we thought we would have more time than if we were a family as less time eating (kids usually take ages, my niece and nephew do). can que without complaints haha. i love kids i do but im glad we are just a couple for now
This is just a rough plan for what we are going to do with our days, not so much hour by hour. but i have got the mydisneyexperience app to track waiting times. Day one(october 1st 17): land at 3:25pm and arrive at the hotel around 4:30pm. check in, unpack, get tickets, explore the grounds around us Day two: Animal Kingdom in the day and then magic kingdom in the evening for the show Day Three: Hollywood studios for the whole day Day Four: hollywood studios for what we missed and then over to epcot for the rest of the day Day Five(my birthday): Magic Kingdom! all day and hopefully booking the T-rex restaurant for the evening Day Six: Busch Gardens (giraffe feeding tour) then relaxing at the hotel Day seven: Volcano Bay water park all day Day Eight (anniversary): Magic Kingdom with a booked restaurant (havent chosen yet) Day nine: universal studios all day Day ten: islands of adventure all day Day eleven: discovery cove and late afternoon shopping Day twelve: decision day, to go back to places we want to re-visit day thirteen(friday 13th): epcot all day and then universal for halloween horror night day fourteen: decision day or relax if we are knackered haha day fifteen: morning shopping and then home time

Not sure you will be able to stay awake enough on day two to do AK then MK at night...jet lag makes me sleep in my dinner that day.
Also, HS is a half day or easy full day park - no need to revisit the next morning I don't think. For your anniversary would recommend Narcoosee, or Cali Grill if you can get in - much more romantic than the park restaurants, and you can view wishes with a glass of wine in hand... Have a great time!

Thank you
The last time I went to Florida I was around 10 so it will have been a decade. I'm really shocked the HS is only a maximum of a day because there seemed so much to do there, but i will change my plan now thank you both!
And I will definitely look into those two restaurants, I'm a very picky eater which is going to be super hard for us! I travel quite a lot and never really have trouble with jet lag, I have been to America and Canada a few times and I don't know how but i'm as fresh as a daisy! Thank you for taking the time to reply

Maybe nice to go to Boardwalk in the evening sometime as you are a couple? We've only ever been as family of 4 and it looks like a great grown up option the evening.

Agreed re HS. Put your extra time into Epcot as you are short there, it's a big park .
Also would swap day 6 and 7 round. Volcano bay will be busy anyway as its new , but especially on a weekend with the locals. Also, would mean you wouldn't have 5 big park days on the trot at the start .

Yes, Boardwalk is lovely - have a nice dinner, then walk down to Epcot and watch fireworks - Flying Fish is meant to be nice, and there is also the yachtsman, or Captains Grille, both at Yacht club.

On the first day I would jump on a bus and head for Disney Springs to do a bit more exploring.
