Really busy/crowded/stuck right next to someone is no good for dmil (who'll be the young 87 year old in the room)

Sanaa was really pretty... we weren't there for sunset and didn't have a window seat, but even without that it was my favourite restaurant. Sci fi diner was pretty cool theme too... we will probably go back to both of these during our hypothetical 2018 trip! 😀

T-Rex is really cool. I mean, people queue to see the one animated dinosaur at the Natural History Museum in London, at T-Rex you have a whole herd of them to watch while eating decent food!

Tiffins is pretty good. The interior is a kind of art gallery and the food is excellent.

Jiko is beautiful. The lighting echoes an African day, from sunrise to sunset.

Fantastic food too!

Boma is lovely, as is Columbia Harbour House (which is just like the interior of a ship).

Your MiL, at 87, might enjoy 50's Prime Time Diner which is just like sitting in a kitchen or other room in a 50's home (albeit an American home).

Be Our Guest is lovely inside. But to be honest, all themed restaurants on Disney are beautifully designed inside.

Off site? Can't think of any that are special. There are a few 50's style Denny's Diner still around, but most of them have updated their interiors in the last 15 years.

We had five signature restaurant meals in October this year, all were very nice in the wow department, but the one that had our jaws dropping was Be Our Guest...The main ballroom was breathtaking ..
