paying for MMNSSHP

Hi all,

After paying hundreds of pounds for 14 day tickets for the family is it really worth paying for an extra $79 dollars for the special ticketed events.

Who here has done it and was it a good night and worth it?

Cheers, seeing if we should do it

It's down to personal choice really. We've done it twice and it's great fun, good value is ? . Trick or treat is good and you can get quiet a haul of American sweets ( handy to bring back for school gifts etc) best to queue later in the evening. No fastpass after 7pm so rides are a walk on but most people go for the different parade, rare character meets and of course hallowishes fireworks . If you like hocus pocus as well the castle show is fabulous.
We are going again in October next year but debating wether to do mnsshp on 31/10 ( the dearer night ) as it would currently be around £500 for us with the exchange rate being pants. If you haven't done it before I would consider it though as it's something different and the parade is fab as well as the fireworks ( but you can watch those for free outside MK) . Hope this helps X

The parade is the most fantastic parade ever created, and I hate parades so that's saying something!

Its a nice evening but my opinion is not worth the extra if you have a 14 day ticket.

I think they should be giving a discount for people with 14 day tickets !

We were having the exact same dilemma but in the end we took the plunge and booked it. It's a fair bit of extra money on top of tickets but we decided it was something we have always wanted to do and we are unlikely to be back for a few years.

The reason they don't discount for day guests is basically they don't have to, most nights are sold out! Is it worth it, depends, certainly for someone without a day pass that can arrive from 4:00pm so 2 hours less than day park hours but $35 cheaper.
It is a great night but you can't get away from the fact that it is expensive, we actually weren't going to do it this year but it's our last day so would've meant finishing at 7:00pm!

Its one of those must do`s in my opinion. Yes its an extra £50 or so, but thats a tank of fuel, and really in the grand scheme of the holiday its not that much. If you are there at that time of your then I could not be able to miss it.

We loved it and would recommend. Kids almost got the monies worth in sweets! Do it early as we ended up throwing sweets out as we didn't have room to take it home!

Worth it for the parade and the fireworks alone in my opinion...
