paper driving license

hi dibbers.i read on a thread the other day,that you need to take your paper driving liscense as well as your pink photo one.ive been a few times and never had to before,well i dont think i did.i deal with dollar at international orlando.all i have is the pink card with my photo one.going in 12 days do i need to PANIC thanks guys

i have just found a counterpart driving licence its a d740w.will that be ok

We booked twice with Dollar and neither me or my husband have ever had to show the paper part of the license when picking up. I suppose it depends who you get on the desk.

Many have not been asked for the paper bit but problem what happens if you are asked and do not have it with you? Not worth the bother that you may get.

its not just for the car hire companies, but also if you happen to be stopped by the police it will be the paper part there interested in.

That is exactly what you need, the plastic d.l and the counterpart.

WE have never been asked for the Green paper version even though we take it with us.
We just show our pink licences.
