Car park at Disney Springs

Can anyone please update me as to the parking situation at Disney Springs. I think there was a car park being built at the Market place end and just wondered if this was the case, when it will be finished.

The one near Market Place is due to complete in the fall of this year.

The other one (Orange Car park) is fully operational and is located near the Cirque end of Disney Springs. As you enter it will tell you how many spaces are available on each level. Nothing unusual in that you say but as you get to the level you choose it will tell you exactly how many spaces are available on each individual row. Saves time searching for an empty space. The Orange car park pedestrian exit brings you into Disney Springs down the side of AMC cinemas. If you want Market Place you'll need to walk.

There is also surface parking available, as it was my first time driving in the USA last month I did my best to avoid parking garages so on my first visit I following the signs to surface parking which is in the same area near Cirque de Soleil.
On our second visit I ended up on the Orange garage as following the signs and couldn't remember where the surface parking was... thankfully I got a space on the lower level so i didn't have to drive up any ramps (although I expect it would have been fine as the overall driving experience in the US was pretty good)

Very easy to find we were there last week. Orange parking garage or surface parking to the left.

Do you have to pay to park? If so, If you have been to one of the theme parks is that parking ticket accepted?

No, parking at Disney Springs is free.
