Virgin Car Hire

Does anyway know how I add a child car seat to our booking? I have looked on the website and cant find a link or price for it. I have emailed customer services and they have suggested that i upgrade to a platinum insurance at an extra cost of £390,they said that this entitles us to a free car seat.
Has anyone any ideas?
many thanks

Are you sure you have the VH fully inclusive insurance already.
As queenofthenile says this is one big jump.

I strongly suspect you don't have any insurance at this time with this price.
Details of VH car insurance policies and rates rates can be found here

You can see that the cost of the platinum over the all inclusive is around £20 per week which includes a tank of fuel and car seat hire.

I'd price up the VH cost against an independent hire, maybe take your own car seat which Virgin will transport for nothing.

We never took a car seat with us on holiday for our daughter last year who was 4 at the time. Instead the first thing we done was go to Walmart and buy a booster seat for $12 which was by far the cheapest method. We then brought it home and is still used to this day.

If you are picking up the car from the airport you will need a car seat so the Walmart option isn't an option (if you know what I mean).
As Jakey rowling says, it seems a lot for an upgrade. Are you sure you have insurance yet? We always take our own seats as we know the kids are comfortable and safe in them and virgin don't count it towards luggage allowance. How old is your little one?
