I have mixed feelings about the new Dumbo rides. I don't like the idea of 2 as I also think Dumbo was Dumbo but now there's two. I know that makes no sense at all probably although I think the no queue queue is a brilliant idea for the kids. Keeps them entertained and out of the blazing sun whilst they wait their turn to ride.

I also I do not like Storybook Circus. Not at all, not one bit I don't mind change and the parks have brought changes through the years but the removal of Mickey and Minnies houses was a mistake in my book. I think the addition of the new rides and it was needed but I just don't like Storybook Circus.

I hadn't thought of this but it's a good point. At DLP in Feb I loved the amazing views of Fantasyland and the castle. When I was teeny tiny if my mum and dad mentioned Disney, my first thought was "Dumbo ride" - that's what Disneyland meant to me. I don't think the younger generation will feel the same magic - it is just one of many rides now, tucked away in a corner.

My eldest Daughter (6) absolutely loved the Dumbo ride and she went on it 4 times but didn't want to use Fastpass + so she could play in the area.

Maybe I am in the minority here but I quite liked the Storey Circus theme however I am in agreement that Minnie and Mickey houses should have stayed.

We were thrilled that the queue had disappeared, meant our toddlers could ride with no queue then ride again. They'll be 4 & 5 when we go next and it'll be top of their list again, hopefully with no queue!

It will just be location in my opinion. Although lots of us plan there will still be those who just go to the first thing they see and this was very conveniently placed before. It was also very hard to get past without riding if you had a young child with you!
There have been a lot of new attractions added there lately though and with everyone wanting to try out SDMT etc it is bound to have an impact.

I think it's also down to Disney having the say ride 4 times in 1 park (2 Dumbo's,The magic Carpet and the astro orbiter) that kids and parents feel like they need to go on all 3 with the theme the only different.
