Buying dvc points?
First of all im new to here but i have been to Florida 5 times, going to Disneyland Paris for the first time next month and my partner and myself are looking to get married out there asap!
Speaking to someone recently they said they saved a LOT of money by buying DVC points? How does one go about this? Any help would be gratefully recieved |

Are you talking about a trip to Florida, or Paris? As there are no DVC properties in Paris.
For Florida, you can 'rent' points from a current owner, you will pay approx £7 per point. You can check the number of points you will need here Bear in mind, you won't get a free dining plan. And it's a private transaction with an unknown individual, so if anything were to go wrong you wouldn't get any backup from either theDibb, or Disney. |

Bev - you can still book Disneyland Paris through member services (ordinary rooms) via the Disney Collection but I will say, it can be a faff!
Op - go here first; disneyvacationclub.disney.go/ Read through and then come back here and ask questions. We found that DVC were not at all pushy about selling and gave us plenty of time. You can purchase via resale but this does come with some restrictions. Edited at 10:09 AM. |

I would imagine the points required would mean a rental wasn't a good deal.

Used to be when tickets were included but these days you have to buy separately.
