Off strip restaurants

Hi we've now hired a car
We go in 2 and a half weeks.

I'm looking for good (reasonably priced) restaurants. I'm thinking they're going to be cheaper than the strip restaurants?
Thanks in advance

Buffets, we like South Point, Red Rock, Green Valley and the Station Casinos.. less than half you pay on the strip.

Egg Works was nice for breakfast similar price to Dennys I think (we had a groupon though).
Denny's, Outback etc are the same price on and off strip.

In N Out burger is fab...(only get them on the West Coast) costs about $22 for the 4 of us, so definitely cheap for 2 people.

Five Guys burgers is cheap too, we usually go to the one nr the South Outlets. We pay about $30 for the 4 of us.

Jimmy Johns is fab for Subs (way better than Subway), several off strip locations I'm not sure exactly what they cost because we get it discounted but not expensive.

I guess it also depends on what you want to eat and how far you want to travel, what fits in with your plans etc.

Even my DW (who won't eat burgers over here) absolutely loves In N Out burgers. It's an education to visit one of their outlets, never seen so many staff in a burger joint. All freshly made and so tasty...

OP, it's definitely worth a visit to Green Valley Ranch. Decent casino and a Cheesecake Factory just across the road.

Thank you. I will write them all down.
I've had a nosey on groupon.theres deals like pay $30 AND get $50 of food etc
Are these worth purchasing before we go or are coupon books and flyers better value?

Depends what the Groupons are for?

Tbh I don't buy many Groupons these days as I find them too restricting and by that I mean we feel we have to eat in that particular place because we've paid up front for it, but actually there are other places we prefer.

There aren't masses of coupons to be had out there, and mostly its just coupons with a few dollars off the likes of Denny's.

I can't imagine 2 of you for a week will spend masses on food even if you eat on the strip.

It is on strip opposite circus circus, the peppermill is a fab diner (and famous for cocktails - even for breakfast ). MAssive portions, seriously it was like man v food (food won lol) and very reasonable. May not be the cheapest option, but we went for breakfast $30ish for the both of us, but we didnt want any food untill late evening that day! We sadly did not have a cocktail as I drove (on our last morning)

ETA when i say not cheapest I mean not as cheap as off strip, but cheaper and better quality than Dennys (i really don't like Dennys).

Five guys is amazing also - the drink machines and the cajun fries
