Mobile Car hire help- urgent

Hello
Please tell me I'm not going mad! We booked our car hire in Canada- have arrived today to pick it up to be given a Honda Civic. We booked a class that said 'Chevy Impala or similar' - we booked this because last year all our bags went into the impala we had. This civic means that 2 of the cases would have to be with the kids in the back which I've refused.
I've just had a diva moment and said that I'm not accepting this car!
It's not as simple as Florida!

Couple of websites I've just checked for Canada suggest the Honda Civic is an intermediate

As Andy. If you booked a full size they are having you on! What did you book?

We booked premium car - I think. Didn't take much notice of the class as it was the Chevy Impala we wanted. It is more to fit in the bags and do they are not on view.

Anyway- we are waiting now for another car which is supposed to be coming from another location.

Thank you for your quick answers and backing up my 'am I going mad moment!'

The Honda is not a Premium car, they are having you on! Hope it all works out well!

A few years a go at Tampa they tried giving us a Mini Cooper, we booked a Ford Focus or similar! They eventually brought a Ford Focus when they realised my patience was wearing thin and their attempt at trying to get me to upgrade failed.

Hopefully you'll get the right sized car soon and be on your way. Have a great time

That's a bit more like it - the Camry is a bit bigger than the UK Toyota Avensis
