We are flying cattle class! for the 1st time long haul with Thomsons, do you get to choose your own films etc to watch? Can you clear up that you don't get complimentary drinks throughout the flight.

Can you check in online? and can you explain 'Twilight Checkin' please as i've seen this mentioned in places.

Thanks alot.
You can't check in online but the twilight check in is for you to be able to check in your baggage the day before if you are on an early flight but I did read on the website that you don't get your boarding pass if flying to america so you still have to queue again in the morning to get your boarding pass.

I don't know about the drinks though I am sure someone will be able to answer.

Hi,
We travelled with Thomson Economy in May this year, you do get a choice of films and tv progs to watch and for an extra £5 you can upgrade and get more films to choose from - we did this and there were easily 4 films i wanted to watch so had to decide which ones i wanted to see most.
From what i remember you get the drink with your meal and then a couple of drinks tea/coffee during the flight, but you have to pay for the others, that being said like i said before i have flown with Virgin and Thomas Cook to Florida before and Thomson was by far the best.
Hope that helps.
Michelle

But if, like us, you don't want to pay £25 each for 4 people to pre-book seats it gives you a better chance of sitting together. Our "children" are older teenagers so not a problem if we don't sit together, but it would be nice.
