Cape Coral, Sanibel Island or Naples?

Not sure if you have looked as Fort Myers Beach as a final destination? It is 30 mins away from Sanibel , has plenty of hotels to choose from and is lively in the evenings around Time Square

Yes we stay at Fort Myers beach, the Times Square area has plenty going on, the beach is lovely, Sanibel is just a short drive away.

Been to Naples quite a few times and stayed at the Cove Inn. We like Captiva Island, at the top of Sanibel. There are hotels, condos and villas. The Captiva Island Inn and Jensons are on Andy Rosse Lane and the beaches are great, ver old Florida

Sanibel definitely! We stayed at the Sanibel Inn and had a wonderful ocean view room. Only 2 floors, right on the beach, lovely pool and really comfortable.

Go shelling on the beach at dawn, visit the Ding Darling reserve and the lighthouse area. Good restaurants are the Blue Giraffe and the Island Cow.

Oh gosh there is so much to see and do! I'm going to sit down at the weekend with DH and look at all these options, we don't go until April next year so have plenty of time. Thank you everyone for all your help .

Just had a mini break to Marco Island (celebrating our 20th anniversary). We honeymooned there in 1995 - hardly changed - is still a beautiful place.

We're staying 2 nights at Marco Island this year. We've never been before but we stayed in Fort Myers last year and visited Sanibel etc, so decided to try somewhere new.

Have you any recommendations on things to do/see?
