Is this crazy?

As the title says, is this crazy? I thought this year would be my last visit tinWDW due to lack of funds and worsening arthritis. However, I have resolved the funds issue but would be interested to know if anyone has ever done WDW on their own in a wheelchair (scooter probably).

If you were staying on site and hire a scooter you will have no trouble and Disney staff will give you all the help you need. I am wheelchair bound and cannot manage the parks at all on my own.

Thanks - was planning on śite with DDP and hiring a motorised scooter - not until 2017. Will maybe trying going off on my own for a while when we are there this year and see if I can manage.
